Always wanted to rework bumpers....Not sure this is what i would want but the creativity is interesting..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Plymouth-Prowler-Base-/282384872413?hash=item41bf7333dd:g:uksAAOSwTM5YvJlc&vxp=mtr |

They look like guard rails on the highway. Other opinions may vary, of course. |

Yeah, I rarely take a second look at Prowlers on Ebay anymore since I just got mine, but I happened to see this car just an hour ago on there, and took a deeper look at it. Something about the styling draws you to look at it, but it's not a style for me to own. Rob. |

Not my style, but to each his own!!! Half the fun of owning a Prowler is modifying it your own way. Would be boring if everyone had "stock" cars!! |

Well, it's unique for sure. Might grow on you but think it might actually detract from value. Not my cup of tea. |

I concur with Ed.... They look like guard rails... Not for me but the owner is the only one who needs to love it.. To each his own... |

I think if someone could make bumpers that looked like the original bumpers on the prototype Prowler they would be swamped with orders. Jer |

I looked into having someone put the vinyl wrap that simulates chrome, but the guy said with all of the corners they just wouldn't look right, which I thought was kind of a cop out since he had already wrapped an entire Porsche Boxster with it and it looked great. Maybe if you find someone that is more confident in thier skills. Or now there are places that do a spray on simulated chrome that looks really good. I ended up doing mine in a simulated carbon fiber look which turned out really good and gets a lot of compliments. |

I have had some painted in the past and they claimed the fronts were hard to do, inside the triangle. I guess they can't get far enough away. |

quote: Funny Ed, that's the first thing I thought of, too. Better than the things on my Prowler when I bought it, yikes (see the picture). However, I do agree that Prowlers do need to be customized to a degree. They were designed to defy convention. I do believe that a less than stellar mod will hurt the value of the car. |
