I'm posting in hopes that Ed Monahan reads it and can give me an answer. I looked in a post that was from 2011 where Ed said there is a gentleman in Cincinnati OH. that has a sure fired fix for center caps that are broken. There's an address listed for Dick Linneman. My question is, does he still do it and is the price still $100 + $10 for shipping? If he does I'll send them out today. Also what form of payment does he require? |

Hi Jer, Yes, Dick still does the center cap 'fix', and does an excellent job. Ed will chine in when he wakes up this afternoon.....he's a night owl. ------------------------------------------------------------

Best fix ever. I had Dick sort this out for me through Ed. Ed is the man that made this possible for us Prowler owners. I had all six of mine done. You won't be disappointed. |

Thanks so much for the speedy replies. I was washing the Prowler this morning and when I started drying the right rear wheel, it popped loose and practically fell off in my hand. Sure was glad that it didn't come off while driving down the road. Will get them mailed out tomorrow. I love this forum! |

Jer, I was playing golf and it takes a LOOOOONG time when you take as many strokes as I do. lol Dick will take care of you and you will be happy with the result. Sorry about the delay from ME but as usual, everyone stepped up to help out. |

Thanks Ed, glad to hear you were outside enjoying yourself. Won't be long before it'll be to cold for golf. Everybody was very helpful and I'm proud to a part of such a wonderful bunch of people. The amount of knowledge about Prowlers in this group is amazing. Thanks to all who replied. PS. If you talk to Dick, let him know my caps will be on their way tomorrow. |

I don't have a Prowler trailer but I do have a real nice little cargo trailer that I pull behind my Goldwing. I'm pretty sure I could pull that behind the Prowler. I have the receiver hitch on the Prowler but no wiring harness. The original owner bought the factory fold down luggage rack and bag for it when he bought the Prowler. |

I got over to Dick's today finally. I told him they were enroute. I shipped two last week that said they would be there by Saturday and didn't arrive until Tues. About a month ago, the young guy who bought Mac's lost one and I shipped it right away. It took almost two full weeks but it had to go almost 50 miles north to the Dayton area!!!! The last few that went to Canada took 10 to 14 days to clear Customs, I guess. Really slow. |

I would like to get my center caps repaired too. I have been scared to pop them off to check my lug nuts since I had my tires replaced (2012). I super glued the inside clips back on and used a lot of tape (inside the caps). Do I just send the caps and a check to Dick Linnemann? I live overseas in Belgium, but my mailing address is an APO, so shipping is considered stateside. Thank you ------------------ |

Here is some thing that works On Prowler Crappy Center caps even with broken tabs it for me that I have used for Years My Prowler and other Prowlers - 3M black strip 1/4 inch calk . It is a rubber calk - Clean cap in side edges place it on the inside edges of the cap edges press the cap back on . you wont see it and It is easy to take back off ..Think about it and could save some money .. |

Yea! I got my center caps back today. Soooo easy to put back on. What a great fix!! Thanks Dick, I truly appreciate the fabulous job you did to fix them and take away the fear of losing one or more of my caps. They look GREAT! Thanks Jer. I really don't have a whole lot to do with it. I just happen to live in the same city as a truly gifted guy who can solve a problem almost every time. Luckily he owns a Prowler and loves to make life easier for us. |

He will ship them quickly but sometimes they sit at the border for more than a week at customs, for some reason. Just a heads up. All the info is current for Dick. |
