Well my wife and I finished our trip to Dallas and back. Good trip. I didn't think the Prowler would be comfortable for that long a drive.. boy was I wrong. Once we got settled in it was a very comfortable drive.

We averaged 24 miles to the gallon and it was up to 26 until I went over a couple of mountains. We have spent yesterday running up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway.. and that brought the mileage down to 23.6. I was still impressed.

We are heading back up to the mountains in the morning to go house shopping. We are going to see about getting a place in Gatlinburg TN.

Here are a couple of pictures from the trip.

This was in East Texas.. my wife made me pull over. She thought the name of the place was funny.

I thought this was a cool shot..

Here I am..

Here is my wife.. I got her to stand by this sign before she realized what the sign actually said.. hahahaha

I thought I would share our little adventure..

Thanks for posting the great pictures.

I've seen that beer store a time or two myself.

Looks like they were closed when you were there.

The store was actually open.. If you look on the left side of the picture you can just make out the front bumper of a truck. Two women had just walked out of the store and got in the truck. It was pretty early so they probably just opened. We didn't go in.

Your wife has enough sense to "make you pull over" for a photo opp at "Beer:30" - which is a great picture and you thnak her by insinuating she's a witch?

Cool, I hope she shares your humor.

Sounds like a nice trip. Enjoying a road trip in the Prowler is always great.

On a trip out west we spent 13 hours in the Prowler in a single day and also found it to be very comfortable. Grate pics.
