I always like Orange but I got talked out of it back in 2001, so I ended up with the Candyred. I liked the color but at times it looked on the dark side to me. I just like bright colors for this kind of ride. When I had another chance to get a Prowler again I got the Orange. It looks cool in my garage and it sparkles in the sun.

..I just wanted something quiet and reserved, something to blend in with the crowd, so I picked this color from the Buick sales brochure....

THAT'S EASY THE 97 PURPLE WAS TOO SLOW AND I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THE DEALERS WANTED,ALTHOUGH IF I WERE TO GET A 2ND PROWLER IT WOULD BE A 99 PURPLE. I'M JUST NOT TOO FOND OF YELLOW (SORRY RAY), BLACK SHOWS TOO MANY SWIRLS AND IT ALWAYS HAS TO BE CLEAN TO LOOK NICE. RED DIDN'T DO TO MUCH FOR ME,BLUE WAS TOO DARK,JUST DIDN'T CARE FOR THE BLACK TIE OR WOODWARD BECAUSE OF THE BLACK (SORRY JESSE),CANDY RED WAS TOO DARK FOR ME AND NOT FLASHY ENOUGH FOR ME,SILVER WAS TOO DULL,INCA GOLD WASN'T FLASHY ENOUGH FOR ME. THAT'S WHERE I GET TO THE ORANGE IT JUST LOOKED BEAUTIFUL WHEN I FIRST SAW IT. RICK

I bought a red one because it screams look at me! haha.. Its a classic color. I considered yellow because that is an even louder color.. but my wife talked me out of it. I don't think they made a bad color on the Prowlers. The car looks excellent and each color makes me feel a slightly different way. Some colors look more aggressive than others. I almost bought a black one before I got the red one. I'm happy with my choice thought I may someday have a black one.

I often describe my Prowler as long, low, loud, and chrome. The color red with those big chrome rims and chrome extras that have been added just does something for me.

If every car I have from here on out can be described as long, low, loud, and chrome then I have some cool cars in my future.

It was the only color that really made me even consider buying the Prowler. I had seen several of the other colors and they did not stand out - but when I saw the Orange I bought it on the spot! If I hadn't seen the orange I would not have a Prowler today.

My first option was a black as I wanted to flame the front but in the end had to settle for a Candy red...by the way the right hand conversion is now completed and have had it registered last Friday so its now legal. Had to get further inspections to check it wasn't rebirthed or illegal import ie: imported as parts car.
Taking it to Tasmania next Friday for 2 weeks...drive to Melbourne and sail overnight on vehicular ferry to Tassie.

We only had two choices , Purple or Yellow. We liked the Purple better. It's still our personal favorite of all the colors.

Silver because it wasn't one of the two colors I didn't like and it was the first to fit my price range.

If I buy another it will be yellow or black.

I bought a black one as opposed to the gold Prowler i was looking at because I thought the black had more potential for flames or graphics i was considering...

I wouldn't trade it for any other color...

but hey ... "what ever floats your boat"

When I first saw the concept Prowler in 1995 it was shown in the original and best color...Purple. Then and there I fell in love with the car and the color. I have a 99 in purple!

I thought all of the Prowlers were purple. I was talking to my brother who had bought a new car. I asked why he bought a Chrysler and he said his son was working for Chrysler Financial so he got a deal. I asked him if he thought my nephew could get me a deal on a Prowler, did he even know what it was. He said they had a black one at the dealer where he got his car. I figured it was Purple and he did not pay attention.
I went to look at the black cat at midnight. The lights were not on at the dealer so I couldn't really tell. I had just gotten a computer so I started looking and saw a RED one on eBay or some other site. That sealed the deal. I found a RED one about 3 days later in IND. I still did not know they had made yellow but that did not matter. RED was the color for me.

I've always loved Purple!!!

I had my Mustang back in 87 sprayed with Sikkens Black and House of Kolor Kandy Purple.

Heck...the carpeting in my family room is even Lavender.

Never claimed to be normal.

I went to the auto show in 1995 or 96 & saw the purple one. I signed up to get info. from Chrysler. I still have the lititure. Anyway the prices in Cle. went nuts & I deceided not to pay what they were asking. Then in 2001 I saw the orange one & said to myself someday I'll have one. Then that fateful day at Woodward in Aug.2005 when I saw you guys & gals in your rides crusin Woodward,WHAT A SIGHT. I went home & 2 wks.later I had my dream....orange Kat with 1200 mi.on it. Hope to post here for a long time & meet some of you people. Havin a ball!!!

I actually like all the colors except one which I would not mention so not to offend anyone. My son wanted me to get a purple one and I was just looking to find the right one. So I ended up with an 01 silver which I think is not as flashy as some but it is classy. I'm still young so there is always the possibilities of owning another color. My son still wants me to get a purple than sell the silver, like he thinks he will get it when he gets is license.

I have a thing for the original (purple) color on the Prowler. It seems to be a different shade at different angles and light conditions. The metal flake is just right.

My next choice would have to be Candy Red.

I made a deal in Feb. of `96 to purchase the 2nd Prowler the dealer got.

The 1st one was Purple and it was Delivered in Feb. of `98, mine was delivered in July, color was not an option in Feb. of 96 so I figured I would have a Purple. Liked the color but 3 weeks befoire ours was delivered I seen a Yellow one in Indianapolis. Sue and I both really liked the Yellow and was happy to see a Yellow Prowler at the dealer when we went to sign the paperwork.

IF I had the choice of all the Factory Prowler colors I would have an Orange, but unless someone offers stupid money for my car I will keep the yellow one.

I had the choice of a purple with painted wheels, a purple with factory chrome whees, or the brand new black color. I loved the purple but I knew that "someday" I may want to customize the paint on the car.

There is only one color that I can't really hack. It's my feeling that Prowler Orange is perfect blend of Class and Pop!

I fell in love with the original show car, so when I was looking for one, I wanted the Purple. Also, Purple cars were/are usually the cheaper color (for now, but I think down the road, they will be very collectible because most people associate the prowler with purple)

If I had to choose a different color, it would be candy. I love that color just as much as the purple. Orange would be my next choice. The color I like the least??? Well, I'll keep that to myself as not to hurt anyones feelings or ruffle an feathers.

I chose Black Tie due to the fact I thought it was pure class. I've had a purple and teal car in the past and got sick of the colors after a few months, so I figured I would be safe this time. Being #007 only sealed the deal. If I had to do it over I would seriously look at Orange though, what a great color.
