Cool pics!!! Thanks for posting them. I have never been to the museum. What does the "O" signify in the middle of all the RT's?

The sculpture in the circle in front of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum was designed and built by a local artist, Joseph W. Wesner. He was a designer/sculpture who preferred to work in metals. It is a 15' high bronze sculpture. Unfortunately, Mr. Wesner passed away in April of 2002 at the age of 46.

The circle is perceived as a wheel or a large roll of steel, representing transportation, locomotion and technology.

The circular rings protruding from the circle represent movement and visual rotation.

The horizon base represents growth, development and knowledge.

I would bet that "black" was in the "hopper" at that point ... hmmm ... so the only one I can not refute would be the candy red (that "should" have been candy apple red instead, btw) ...
