As Eleanor (the loverly lady that I am married to) is the Village Clerk, our attendance was/is mandatory.

As an afterthought, after finding out that the Elk Grove is limiting attendance, I would like to take this opportunity to extend to each of you an invitation to join us in the Oakfield Fire Department celebration/parade.

While the 'parade' is only about 10 blocks long, and lasts about 10 minutes max (HaHa)... it will be very exciting to see a few Prowlers gathered. It is an all-day small-town celebration with several bands lined up (polka to classic rock) .. I think... can update that more later.... drinks/food/etc available in a 'gather-round-under-the-pavillion/in-the-park' type setting.

Oakfield is about 1 hour north of Milwaukee... 1 hour east of Madison. More to follow ... (gotta go to work!)

Polka band, followed by DJ Milo (country/classicrock) and then the Rocket 88's a local well-known group that performs 50-60-70s rock

Food, fun, music all day long...
raffle tickets should still be available for sale that day that includes several chances at several hundred dollar cash prizes as well as others.
