Thank You...but trying my best to keep my 97 stock. Sure is hard though. I thought they were cheaper than that.

I HAVE A CHROME BEZEL ON MY 2001. IT'S SCRATCHES EASY, I'D LIKE TO PULL IT OFF AND PAINT IT ORANGE TO MATCK MY CAR BUT I DON'T HAVE A CLUE HOW IT COMES OFF. NO WAY IS IT WORTH $170.00

On the front of the shaft there is an allen screw. Unscrew that and it lift right off.
They are no longer available at the dealers.

I thinks Ed misunderstood your question. He's and old guy and does that a lot There are four tabs on the bezel one at each corner. Use a credit card to gently push them inward one at a time. The bezel will pop right out. Very easy to do.

I bought one of these bezels before my Prowler was even delivered. It was my first mod. Very easy and I think the leather shift boot really dresses up the interior. I think I paid $150 on Ebay.

Ed, a colonoscopy and your thinking shift knob?
I will remember to make sure I check out the scope the next time I have my Cscopy. I will tell them I want the small knob with flames on it.....

They said it will cure my pressure headaches, too. The stretched it so it will not be so tight on my head when I have my head up my rear. lol
Sandy said I was telling them all kinds of stories while in recovery. I have absolutely no memory of any of that. The first thing I remember was walking to the car. I really was still woozy last night.
