I am always curious how people find this site, I take to so many owners that know nothing about it, I have had 3 this week.

We have a lot of long time members that post here all the time but we have a lot of people that do not so heres a chance for you to tell all of us about you and how you found your Kat.

For me my dad wanted one when they announced the car was going to be built, he finally got a early 99 that he traded his C5 Corvette for. Brought his new Yellow Prowler to my shop to store for the winter and we agreed the front bumpers had to come off and that was how Real Rod was born.

My dad moved to California in the fall of 2000 and I bought the company from him, purchased my 2000 black in spring of 2001 and imported it from Canada selling my C4 Grand Sport Corvette to fund the purchase.

I have made so many friends from this site and want to thank the founders for taking the time to do it.

I told the folks here at the office what I had just bought, and one of the Deputies looked it up on the internet to see what information she could find on the car. She ran across the POA site and asked me if I had seen it. I had not, so I looked it over and decided to bookmark it. I've been hooked ever since.

bought my first Prowler in Dec. 1998, it was a black '99...a friend with a purple '99 kinda talked me into looking at Prowlers in the beginning...he purchased his in May '98 and convinced me they were fun...he would let me drive his from time to time....sometimes he would take my Viper and I would take his Prowler for the day........I wasn't aware of any clubs for a while, then stumbled onto the internet and found the PPC....natural progression from PPC to POA....

I had just gotten a computer prior to the Prowler. I think I searched and found PPC but was not impressed and did not join. I got an email from Tony Goertz advising me of the POA. NO HATE MAIL TO TONY, it wasn't his fault. He just did not know me.

I purchased my prowler. I could only drive one weekend before I put the prowler into storage for the winter. I searched for prowler on the intranet, here I am today. What a great site and nice people.

Realrod Bob, how do people find you that do not know about POA? I would think most of your business was due to POA memebers but I never really thought about it.

It was after I purchased the cat used at a dealer on a Saturday, the following Monday I looked on my computer at work, under Prowler and found this site.Do wish I had looked sooner though, My purchase was more of an impulse,as I was out looking to buy a truck at the time.

If you type "prowler" along with chrysler or plymouth or parts, etc, on a search engine, the POA link will be listed 1st or 2nd from the top...

Can't imagine anyone with basic computer knowledge NOT finding about POA.

Was at a motorcycle rally in Sturgis S.D., having a few brews. Ran into this guy one night and somehow we ended up talking about kats instead of motorcycles. He had just sold one and suggested the POA.

Would like to find this guy someday and thank him for directing me here. Great site and GREAT PEOPLE!

I wanted one when they came out, price was to much. Friend
mentioned that they we're going to stop production. Found some dealers that had some in the showroom, just went to look not buy, went for a test drive, had to have one.
I'm still not used to the club thing, I belong to H.O.G.
Harley Owners Group, NW Indiana PT cruiser Club, N.A.R.A.S.
Grammy's, BMI and other associations.
For me its like the Groucho Marxs line " wouldn't want to belong to a club, that would have me as a member". But for real, this is a cool sight, and I plan on attending more events. My favorite cruises are out in the country, driving the country roads, being able to think and relax just me and my car! and some great CD's in the deck.

Lone Ranger would it have been 2001? Had my car and Harley there.

Ed I try to keep track when people order where they find me and it is about a 50/50 split between POA and Internet/refurals from other customers, 2 years ago it was 90% POA. But when someone becomes a customer i direct them here if they do not know about it and tell them to join!

I joined the Prowler Club that Rion McConnell from Ohio started and the Prowler Club of Canada that Tony Goertz started. I didn't even have my Prowler yet. In July of 1999, Bob surprised me with the Black cat. By that time Rion had sold out to Nowell Herman and the Plymouth Prowler Club. When POA was started, I left PPC and joined POA.....and the rest is history!

I was looking to buy my kat and was frustrated with the local dealers and their markup - so I went looking for a group that might have good contacts.

Boy... did I find the right group

BTW... I found my first post... http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002134.html

Now, I carry around with me a POA flyer that I made so that when I run into (and I have been known to chase after) Prowler owners that don't know about us, I can hand them a flyer with all the info about POA!!......and my Prowler business cards.

I got the Prowler bug back in the Spring of 2002.
I did a search under Prowler and found POA.

The members here welcomed me, answered all my silly-a$$ questions and assisted me with my search for my dream toy.
Without the advice of the POA members I would probably never learned of the Prowler essentials such as mudflaps, ceramic pads, hard tops, tranny covers, painted bumpers, no bumpers, Real Rod Bob's event parking lot hospitality, CNote's Deputy Dawg pix, Ed's & AC's classic humor, etc.

This site and the giving nature of the members have greatly enhanced my Prowler experience.

My wife found the POA site and found a tread talking about the orange prowler on ebay. I bought the orange and check in with the POA everyday. Love this site! Soon after my purchase, I went to my first prowler function. I got to meet ( THE LEGEND ) Ed Monahan !
The Cincinnati group made me feel right at home. This is too much fun!

I hope you don't mind Randy but I would like to quote you seeing as how your situation sounds so identical to mine. It's almost identical with the exception that I got the itch to buy a Prowler in the Spring of 2004.
I sure did and still do ask a lot of off the wall questions. As I mentioned before though... finding this site with the quality of members that make up the POA...gave me the confidence to purchase a Cat. I feel that any little problem that arises can be answered by you guys.
For that I say...Thank You!
Brian

I talked to a local Prowler owner while I was still looking for one to buy. DJ4JIRE told me about the site. POA members assisted me in looking at the car out of state and storing it until I picked it up.

The POA members are a great group covering the US and several other countries...and all are willing to help with just about anything!

I found the site in 2002 right before my wedding. I rented a yellow Prowler and wanted to ask some questions about them first.
Great site, I come here often and some day I will be a Prowler owner!!
