Good luck. Prowler's are wierd beasts with pricing. I've seen salvage titled ones go for over 20,000. And then a perfectly good one for as low as 27,000. So don't think there's a lot of room to taking a wrecked on and fixing it.

Anything "wrecked" would be too expensive to fix right even if you did all the work yourself. You have a better option in waiting for a higher milegae prowler...

Good luck

Nick, I would try to find a high milage cat over a wrecked one. I have seen 80k prowlers in the low 20's. Nice Camaro..

Hi Nick, welcome!

I had a black 98 Z28 I bought new...had the same exact wing too! I also did the free ram air mod...it was really fast, but I guarantee the Prowler will erase any other car from your memory.

Don't buy a wrecker....too unique to fix cheaply. Like the others said, you can get a good high mileage Prowler for less than your Z 28 cost new!

Hi Nick and welcome. Try Autotrader.com and search for both Plymouth and Chrysler Prowlers. I just looked and there are 171 Prowlers priced from $26,000 to $50,000. That's where I found mine at a fair price. Wait until you find the one you want and go for it. Nice looking Camaro. Best of luck. Brad

Okay, and why is Michigan not the best Prowler state? After all, they were built here!! I have two cats, we have a great bunch of owners here in Michigan (except for Meancat...don't listen to him! ) and some great prowlin events. Did you see the 60+ Prowlers down on Woodward last August?? That was us!!

There are not a whole lot of high mileage Prowlers since the cars are 3 to 8 years old, at the most. Most Prowler owners do not drive a LOT of miles, but there are a few who do drive them daily. I don't recall ever seeing a high mileage car for sale on POA, other than Waynew's and his is highly modified and would not fall in the low dollar category.
What is the top amount you could possibly afford? I have a 99 with 48,000 miles but I am not going to give it away. I may be interested in selling it since I have a 2002 Candy Red, also.

OK, who bad-mouthed my State?

Winter is the reason that makes us appreciate our
"Prowler" sunshine driving even more. You members of the South only take your cars for granted...................
run the mileage way up, the cars are worth less. Michigan
"Kat" owners are forced to store for the winter, thereby keeping the mileage down, thereby increasing the value of our Prowlers. (Who writes this +%#@&* anyway? Whoops, I guess I did!)
I wonder if I managed to convince anyone with this diatribe, probably not. I don't believe it. I'm just jealous!

I took mine out today. I think that makes Florida the greatest state for Prowlin. GREAT - now all prowler owners will make a mass exodus to the sunshine state.
