I am a new Prowler owner....the guy is delivering the car to me on Monday afternoon (12-20) I CAN'T WAIT!! I have wanted one since they were introduced. I don't fit in them very well...I am 6'4" and I weigh 265!! Maybe I can modify the driver's seat?? I have lots of questions. I am buying a red '99 with 4500 milesType your text here |

WELCOME to the POA!!! Pat - we have many owners in your size range. There are two seat adjusters on the driver's seat,,,you'll just have to play with them to find the correct position for you. With the top up,,,its not easy for us larger guys to get in and out. Feel free to ask questions or add your input to any DISCUSSION FORUM topic. Welcome and happy holidays,with your size you may want to do the door modifaction(hindge)since its not that difficult and gives a lot more room for getting in and out. |

OOPS....Because of a disagreement with the owner of the red car over delivery charges...I am purchasing Bill Coffman's silver and charcoal 2001 tomorrow. Drove his this afternoon and I fit in it better than I thought!!!!! |

Welcome---Pat!!!!!!! I'm 6'1" 265 myself. Take a few minutes with adjusting the seat. It will tilt up and down a little. You might have to move the seat up a inch or so to recline it back further. With the top up I go in head first, swing my right leg underneath me and sit. It takes some practice. Top down no problem!   ------------------ |
