Very nice CJ,
thought you would have snow by now and the cats would be wraped for the long winter nap.

Naaaaaaaahhhh........it was 75 degrees a couple of days ago... I usually don't put mine away until the end of November.
I don't know why everyone thinks Michigan has such terrible weather.......we don't.

Kees..........maybe the next calendar. I just took these last week.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. I'm sad that the crazy wind on Saturday blew so many leaves down. Can I take a guess at where those pictures were taken?......

It's not letting me post a pic of a map. There is a road called Cross Creek Parkway, off of Squirrel just past the Police/Fire station. It leads into a Industrial park. Am I right??

Midntrdr.......you are absolutely correct. My doctor's office is in a building back in there. It's a very beautiful place, though. I was back at the Dr.'s today to have some stitches removed and all of those leaves are down now.

That is also right down the road from DC.

I thought so... I recognized the boulders on the other side of the median. Really nice road, backs up to the test track at dc. We had wind gusts of 69 mph in Shelby on Saturday. I went outside Sunday to find a 4 foot tall pile of leaves up against my garage door.

Radcat Rich............interestingly enough, my daughter-in-law says that leaf raking up at our cottage is the highlight of the Fall. We all go up together for a weekend to rake leaves. We use a big trailer, line it with a big tarp, dump all the leaves in it and the grandkids go for a ride to the woods where we dump the leaves in a big compost pile. The boys call it a "leaf ride" instead of a hayride! We have a bonfire with hot chocolate and s'mores. Of course there is the "jumping in the big pile of leaves" traditon! We get a lot of work done, but have a great time doing it.
