For those of you that have put flames on your Kat, did you go paint or decal? I would like to flame my Mulholland but would like to do it with decals so they can be removed. Any suggestions on design or where to get them? (Also price)?
Thanks
Mikee

Fred Henkel has done some sticker flames not too long ago. They look pretty good too.

He also has a website with more photos at http://www.lordofthelooks.com

Later!

Mikee, come on, bite the bullet. Nothing like the real deal. Mild or wild, don't waste any more time thinking about it, just do it.

You going to join us this weekend for Cruisin For A Cure? Would be great time to check out what others have done. Last count I think over 2850 cars registered. Perfect opportunity to look at stick-on flames, painted on flames, pearl paints, color changing paints, etc. etc......

Give me a call if you are going.

A Black Prowler looks good in painted flames, stickers I would never put that on any of my cars.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm - flames on a Mulholland

They just can't be beat!

You think you get comments now about your kat... just wait until after it is flamed!

Go with the paint!

I really like what you've done with your car Cnote. Took me a little while to get used to the chrome units on the front of your rear fenders, but they've grown on me

I look forward to seeing the car in person at some point - it has to be one of the more heavily yet tastefully customized Prowlers out there.

Just painted our flames a few weeks ago, then outlined, and clearcoated. Sure have been getting a lot of thumbs up along the street since the flames have been added.

ALL the photos of flame jobs posted are all knock outs... I
have to say my clear favorite is landrocket's that Tangled posted.

Lose the bumpers and put a real chromed grill on the car to set off this stunning flame job even further!

....LandRockets Kat was for sale on the board a few months ago......think it was priced around $36K....had 3K miles on it....nice people, nice car....

....I bought this Kat new at Gaddis Chrysler in Muncie Indiana.....sold it to LandRocket with only 2-300 miles on the odometer....he has taken great care of the car and most of the miles were put on it driving it from his home in Ohio to his new home in Florida.....if I remember right, I think the car was actually his wifes car....
