I make sure everything is filled with gas, waxed and swept one last time.....cars are mostly stored in storage bags with battery tenders for the long sleep.....they stay clean, charged and ready to play next spring....

I have the Mopar car covers for both of my cats. For winter storage, we use the CarBags and love them! They use desicant to pull moisture out of the bags and my cats come out dust-free and clean as the day they went into storage. We highly recommend them.

Here are some pics

Here is another link with some pics and detailed information I posted a while ago.......scroll down....

Winter storage? Pay the insurance, plates, keep full of gas, and they are ready to roll at a minute's notice.

Bell - I don't walk barefoot out to the mailbox in a foot of snow, lol.

My Kat will be filled with gas and Sta-Bil, waxed, top up, cleaned inside and out and with fresh synthetic oil and filter. I have a tight heated garage so I dont cover the car and it will go out during the winter as often as clean streets will allow. I use a battery tender any time the car will not be started for more than a couple of weeks.

The only concern is the tires flat spotting from sitting still for so long. maybe put it up on jack stands/ blocks whatever...

My car doesn't go in for the winter...that would mean walking to work...LOL.

Let's hope there is at least another 3 months of Prowlin' weather....then we'll think about storage...
I always make sure the car is full of gas with the stabilizer, trickle charger on the battery, covered up.....then just wait and hope spring is just a stone throw away!

Remove everything from the shop, pull the car in and turn it sideways, lift it about 2 feet in the air, break out the power tools and let the games begin!

We certainly have snow & ice in NC in the winter, but there are also good Prowl'in days to be had, so I don't do anything different other than to tend to drive it about half as much.

Just for a little clarification.....we have a lot of nice, dry days during the winters here and there are days I wish I had my cats out so I could take a drive. However, after the first snow, they pour the salt on the roads (every time it snows) and it stays on the roads until spring when we get some good rains. The cars get covered with salt and it's an ugly sight. No way would I take the cats out on roads like that. Bob would have a coronary!!!
