AP • New York Times • CBS • Photos Reports: Clinton to Undergo Heart Surgery Sep 3, 12:38 PM (ET) ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton checked himself into a New York City hospital on Friday suffering from chest pains, Democratic party officials said. Clinton canceled a two-day joint trip with his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, across upstate New York because of medical issues, another source familiar with the situation said Friday. Both the Democratic official and the source spoke on condition of anonymity. Meanwhile, there were unconfirmed broadcast reports that the former president had complained of chest pains. ABC News and CNN reported that Clinton may have to undergo heart bypass surgery. Spokesmen for the former president and for the senator couldn't be immediately reached for comment. The former president turned 58 last month. |

I heard that earlier--also that miss hill isn't by his side and is upstate with her political business. I wonder if she has a willie doll and is sticking it full of pins? Personally, I think it would do her much more good going to her husband's side, even if he is under control, then going ahead with her political agenda. Hope she stay's upstate!  |

Even though I can't stand the man, I hope he gets well. Like I told my liberal father-in-law when he had a heart attack....That is what he gets for being a Democrat since most Democrats say Republicans have no heart! Hard to have a heart attack when you don't have one! ------------------ |

I will agree with Randy that I never liked him personally as our President, but as a person, I will pray for a successful outcome to his surgery, and continued health...as politics, for me at least, should never come in the way of caring for our fellow man...that's the way the guy upstairs cares for all of us. |

Regardless of one's politics, he is the ex-President of the United States, not just of this party or that ideology. I hope all goes well for him. |

He was just trying to get out of a long weekend with Hillary. He didn't expect her to actually cancel her plans. An extended weekend with her is enough to give anyone heart problems. At least this way he gets to sleep thru the weekend with her.  |

David Letterman said Clinton did fine. The Dr. told him he could resume his regular sexual activities in two weeks and Hillary said she will kill him if he does. lol. Monica said "No comment". |
