are there any members that know whats involved is converting a kat made for the american market and converting it to canadian d.o.t. specs ? i have a 2005 triple black pt convertible that i'm using as a part trade...

any help would be much appreciated

Jim--the first thing is to put back in what's taken out when sales are in the US. Northern cats are supposed to top out at 150...20 MPH faster then the US version. Let us know what it is when you find out! Why would you have to change anything? If you can't find out here, your local DMV could probably answer--bet you knew that though. Let us know what you find out.

what i do know is that the speedo has to be changed to read kilometers, it has to have daytime running headlights, and ...wait for it.... french on the gas cap !! i think there is something about the polution control also... i'll keep diggin..

Frank Peri bought a cat in Florida and took it north. He is on the way to Myrtle Beach, however. Maybe next week.
