Thought you sold the car some time ago? A cover for me wouldn't be worth too much? I understand covers do more harm than good (dust scratches between the cover the cover and paint). Goodbye Alex. |

I am not sure how the cover you guys are speaking of is constructed. It sounds original but I assure you...not all covers are created equal. I purchased a cover from "Covercraft" a couple of months ago. It is manufactured with its patented "Block-It" fabric. They even claim this multi layered fabric will resist most minor dings. Only time will tell on that claim. I have found that before I place my cover on I use my "California Car Duster" to remove the fine dirt particles to ensure that there is no scratching that could be caused by the cover making contact with the finish, as Chromer was mentioning. I feel that this little extra effort will keep my 97 looking great for years to come...we'll see! Hope you guys had a great 4th!!! Brian |

Thanks CJ...I didn't know that. Does the original cover also come equipped with sport mirror pockets? The cool thing is that this high quality cover was also only $139.00 from either Pep Boys or V.I.P. Auto Parts. Have a great day everyone! Brian |
