Of course we all like our Prowlers, but don't you have the one or two things that just 'bug' you about your cat ? The thing that you wish they (Plymouth/DC) would have done different ? Something that just outright annoys you with your cat ? What is it that you dislike the most about your Prowler ? What do other, less exciting cars have but your cat does not and you wish it had ? ------------------ |

I would prefer a standard transmission over the auto-stick, that is my only complaint. |

I know there will be alot of V8 people. So I will go with a Power top that would have been cool. I love the Prowler so it was hard to come up with one.

The fuel gauge is at times a minor annoyance. I wish (for my wife) they would had added up and down adjustment to the passenger seat. I wish during the life of the Prowler they would have made available performance upgrades including upgrades to the computer. ABS brakes would have been nice as well. Relativley speaking all this is minor compared to the joy this car gives us. This message has been edited by BeWare on 05-16-2004 at 07:08 PM |

Well, how about this: - faulty chromed wheels (I guess almost everyone had to deal with this sad and annying issue) - too much plastic interior (comparable to BMW's Z3, Z4, Daimler's SLK - should have been more chrome and/or leather) - certainly NOT enough power - when they opted for the 3.5 V6 they should at least have considered a factory supercharger ! - soundsystem - certainly not bad for the late 90's (but they could have upgrade in later years or early 2000's - at least get some more 'base' in from bazooka tubes, subs etc.) - like Rich noted, the problems with the gauges as well as upgrade options later on - should have been a must ! |

A bigger gas tank! I hate stopping all the time for only $60.00 worth of gas when it could be a $100.00 bill. ------------------ |

1 larger gas tank 2 Better seat adjustments 3 Automatic soft top ( Pat says its heavy ) 4 doors that open wider 5 more orange ones????? Bottom line the kat is great. Nothing is perfect but the kat is my cup of tea. ------------------ More 'Pumpkin' photos . . . . . Pumpkin, I certainly agree with you but let's not forget - the cat is not priced at $ 9000,- like a Kia or a Saturn, where you come to expect less. Compared to other vehicles in this price range, Plymouth (or then DC) could have done a lot more OR simply better ! |

quote: YEAH THAT WOULD BE NICE NOW for my list, when I got the car I sent in one of the replys that asked questions on the car. I stated I thought they should have auto adjusting radio and auto dimming mirror.....BOTH these things were put into the 2000 cars, was it my suggestion? or were there severakl owners that stated they wanted this. I don't know but I would like to think they took my suggestion.......LOL I could write a book on things I would like to have seen the factory do, but instead, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK CHRYSLER FOR BRINGING SUCH A COOL CAR FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION, so we could enjoy them just as they are ------------------ |

Pumpkin has my list all of them 1-5 expecially the larger gas tank. I agree with Larry. Thanks to Chrysler for building this kat and for doing it long enough that I could actually afford one. I remember seeing a 97 in a local dealership and being told that they had turned down $85,000. I really never imagined that we would own one at that point. Gordon |

I like my cats just the way they are. The only thing that "bugs" me is the seat belt. I'm only 5' and it lays across my neck. I'm always holding it with one had at my lap to keep it off my neck......(except when I was driving Tail of the Dragon! lol!) |

1) Larger gas tank. 2) Taller seat backs so you can put your head back. 3) Another cupholder and the placement of the existing one. 4) Better visibility with the top up (though this does encourage me to keep it down as much as possible ) -Dan This message has been edited by Danderson on 05-17-2004 at 02:29 PM |

I love the car, but hate DC's limp effort in supplying replacement parts at a decent price and ensuring availability when needed. I hate having to wait over 6 months for backordered replacement wheels. I'm nervous having only 2 months left on my 3/36 warranty! Not with the ridiculous prices of replacement parts..... I hate knowing my front shocks will start leaking once again when I'm out of warranty, and that will be another 800 bucks at least... |

I think most of us became owners because of the retro look totally unique to anything else on the road. They could have made different options-yes,and they still wouldn't please everyone. The bottom line-car is great the way it is and the group that owns them is even better! ------------------ |

I love the car but: 1) Manual Transmission 2) A small back seat so my wife and I could take a couple of the grandchildren. 3) Clear side marker lights (hope to have that problem solved soon) 4) The other things that most of you have mentioned. |
