WoooooHooooooo!!! Hot Rod....June issue...page 101....Now I must buy every issue in town for posterity. Having my car make Hot Rod magazine is like dyin' and goin' to heaven.

That's the way to keep putting the car out there-way to go. If you want these cars to gain REAL stats this is one of the things that really have to happened. Go to car shows, if your a performance driver(and can afford it) make those events. Don't just sit around and complain that these cars aren't holding or upgrading their value. Complainers will never help. Make your Prowler better and better and follow your interests in "car stuff". That's what will really work. Lets see more people out there trying to break records. More people out there showing their Kats-bring home those trophy's. Letting them sit in your garage and not using them will only devalue them in the long run. We all need to get involved and stay involved. Learn the stats and facts to answer the most asked questions. Explain these facts and YOUR JOY OF OWING AND DRIVING this wonderful vehicle to anyone that wants to know. Now I'll get down off my soap box and go do more stuff for and to my Kat. Thanks gang! I still can't believe my car is in one of my fav all time magazines. Obi-Wan....preachin to da choir! I wasn't slamming Camaros or Mustangs as I have owned 7 of those cars combined...I just got tired of never seeing a Prowler in Reader's Rides, and seeing endless late model Firebirds, Camaros, etc that look like any other ordinary one but with a new exhaust...I thought, "Hell, it's time we represented!" The squeaky wheel gets the grease......LOL> |

From one Black Tie owner to another...CONGRATS!! Great job!! I would like to have my car appear in a magazine some day....but then again since I live in Phoenix it would be hard to say I drive it every day.....in the SNOW  Make sure to frame the magazine cover and the article, and hang it somewhere prominent so that everyone can see it... |

Thanks all....I'm so glad I was able to have a Prowler in the spotlight. I was getting tired of never seeing one in the magazine except in a back corner at a Power Tour pic. It was such a rush seeing my car in print, I forgot to finish eating my lunch yesterday...LOL. I can't even begin to IMAGINE what it would be like to have Hot Rod do a center feature on a car I own. (The 3 or 4 page features they have...those folks featured must buy a hundred extra copies!) |
