Austrian Prowler POA Site Supporter Prowler Junkie From:Vienna, Austria, Europe |

OK my friends, some asked me about fotos. I wasnīt to optimistic to manage it (I have never done it before + my translation problem), but I find out how it works and Hey its easy. This is the pic, where I saw my Mulholland the first time - in the 5-star dealer showroom Then I found a shipping company, who picked up the Prowler from the dealer,NY and shipped it to Terminal Edison,NJ and from there in a container to Bremerhaven, Germany. There I picked up the prowler with my trailer. In the duty free zone at the harbour |

After 1200 km (about 725 miles)-one way- I was lucky to arrive at home. Here the Prowler has to wait until the customs officer came to my home and I could pay 12% duty and 39,2% tax GRRRR I am sorry that the Mulholland have to spent the winter in the trailergarage, but with the Vette I hope he is in good association. OK, thatīs it. If you like it, I can send some pics about my mods. Gery |

Gary C, when do you sleep? always 24hrs online? Closest dealer - I wonīt think about it, because outside US or Canada we have no warranty. This is our horse trailer, different than the American style? Gery |

whealy: The hauler car is a Opel Zafira (wife`s car). Itīs the size likes a PT Cruiser. My wife likes the Zafira more then the PT, because it is a 7 seater (we have 2 Children + dog + ..... ) and have a Diesel-motor (in Austria 75% of the new cars have Diesel-motors because of the high gas prices but now the PT Cruiser also have a Mercedes 2.2 CDI Diesel-motor). I had to take her car, because I got a new company car with no hitch. When the Prowler came out of the garage, I will send some pics of mods - so POA membership should be no problem - but I donīt do all the mods and sell my car (I know your reason why....) To clarify my last pic: BeWare: blubyu: Gery |

T-bird1970: Yes, I will. Until now, I think I wasnīt over 140km/h (85mph). I think our German POA-member condor told us, that he thought the Prowler is not really for high speed rides and will be very light in the front at full speed. Gery |

Thanks Gery ! I had mine going 100 mph so far on a long stretch of Interstate and it performed rather good, considering it is NOT meant to be a high speed vehicle ! That's why I was wondering if you could share any infos you will have WHEN you try it ! I've been there (on the Autobahn) and would like to take my Prowler there one day ! |

To go fast with the Prowler you have to put out the fuel-shot off (130mph), change the overdrive lock-up, soften the front springs or shock system. ( or put a LS-6 or 5.5AMG in it). For me, the Prowlerpower is ok. I cruise with 85/90miles on the autobahn. Hey, Arnie... I like the Mulholland Prowler most.I saw two with swiss registration before. My one is a 2001 silver, I could not choose the colour, I picked it up as a ex factory car near Detroit. The Price was the reaseon to buy. Maybe I swich later to a blue or candy red. My american girlfriend has delivery date for her black SSR in a week.I can take over this one for 32000Euro. Maybe I do... This sommer,I enjoy to cruise in my Prowler and Ford Hot Rod. >>>>> Are you looking for org.Shocks or afermarket ??. you can mail info to: r m c @ g s r a . d e |

Gery, looks great,I guess the biggest challenge was getting it home without scraches and dents. Really all you need to do now is take a few pics of the car with the Alps in the background or on the streets of the beautiful Vienna! |
