With incentives at all time highs, we've been receiving numerous inquires about the Friends & Family Program. We work to keep certificates available to fellow POA members. Contact CJ a day ahead of when you expect to take delivery. Remember, please ask the dealer if they accept the certificates before you enter into negotiations with them. She can be reached at 248.650.3321 or CJ . For those new members that haven't heard this before, most Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicles, with the exception of Viper, SRT-10, SRT-4 and Mercedes, qualify. You can purchase or lease for 1% below dealer invoice plus a $25 administration fee. All current consumer incentives available on the model selected apply in addition to the 1% under dealer invoice. There is often extra incentive money available when there is a major auto show in town, for realtors, for Farm Bureau members, recent college graduates or those about to graduate, military and even physically challenged. We have helped over a hundred people save over the past three years, 54 last year alone. Take the pain out of purchasing a new vehicle. Those that have used them can tell you about their experiences. POA members I'm sure a lot of us used the Friends and Family Programs in the past. It's a great savings opportunity from DaimlerChrysler Corp. Just incase you miss CJ or RPL I can offer the Control Numbers also. Great new vehicles are coming out this year. |

All employees receive four numbers to share. Fortunately for all of you, Bob gets an unlimited number and the program runs through December 31, 2004, so we can get you a number anytime! Incentives are good and rates are low, so now is a great time to purchase a new Chrysler vehicle!! |

Keith, I'm sorry to say but I don't see Canadian incentives. They are run out of our Windsor office and not from Detroit. |

Bob: Thanks so much for this great offer. But I need your advice: I would LOVE to buy my darling bride a new Crossfire. Since I already have "the only car that matters" (our '02 Inca Gold Prowler), I'm interested in the hardtop. As much as the upcoming turbo Crossfire would be fun, I think the price point would put it out of our range. Should I start saving my pennies now, or bite on the 1st year of production model? P.S. Will the turbo be Sirius-radio capable? Kevin ------------------ |

Thks for the checking Bob I will ask them at the dealership about any. My truck will be here 2 weeks earlier than expected now, first week of March I'm best friends with the parts guys now lol. I was really surprized at just how small a mark up there is on the Crossfire's in Canada. just over 2000.00, one with an auto trans will be $47,128.00 using the cert. Still waitng for a price on a PT convertable PK |

Kevin, The Crossfire has a different body electrical architecture (D2B vs J1850 or CAN-B) and we don't have a receiver available for it. The cars qualify for F&F. Happy to help if you're interested. |

BREAKING NEWS.....If you were on the fence in purchasing a vehicle, I have a very limited number of certificates that will allow you to purchase a one at Employee Purchase price. This offer only extends until March 31st. The price is 4 to 5% below net dealer price. Frankly, I didn't expect to see this ever offered after the last two weeks of last year which was a first. Rules, first come, first served. These are not transferable so you must be ready to buy. Contact CJ at Only1CJ@comcast.net |

Bob as always thankyou for looking out for any deals to help us out. To bad these wouldn't work in Canada also hard to understand why the DC companies don't intermix better. 4 to 5 % is an unreal deal. PK |

Keith, Because of Canadian laws, we run two separate companies. Windsor headquarters works hard to meet the needs of the Canadian market. While similar to the US there are unique differences. Sorry that the Employee Choice thing doesn't work in Canada but I'm happy to be able to support out Canadian friends with Friends and Family. Personally, I can believe that we ever offered this once let alone repeated it. Short of using a gun, it doesn't get any better. |

I was told that in Canada we have the Friends of Chrysler program which is at dealer invoice. The Friends and Family program is at 1% under dealer invoice. What is the difference besides the 1%. Is the Friends and Family available in Canada or is this just the same program. To bad the employee purchase price program is not available to us. |

Bob and CJ helped me out when I got the 2002 PT. Bob couldn't help me out on the used 2002 Candy from a private owner though. DARN. CJ still helped out on the deal though. Thanks again to Bob & CJ for always helping everyone out even after people run over their soft drinks. |

Hey, Anyone know what invoice and/or dealer's cost was on the prowlers? I wish I saw this post last week, I just closed the deal on a new 01 prowler. It's on it way here... Would the deal have helped on a leftover prowler anyway?? And if it would have helped, what would the price have been? Thanks |

It may have helped on a Chrysler Prowler but not a Plymouth. The question is always, will the dealer honor the program. Over 95% of the dealers do. If the dealer doesn't want to accept a certificate, try another dealer. Even on the most popular models, I've never seen one of my friends have to go to more than one additional dealer. As to Prowlers, CJ maintains a list of remaining cars that is refreshed each month. That list is starting to get short. I've received a number of inquiries for Employee Choice Certificates. Each employee receives only one that is issued to a specific individual. It is not transferable. My plan is to tap all of the people in my group for theirs. This means that there is a finite number of these available. This message has been edited by RPL on 02-22-2004 at 09:28 AM |

To clarify a bit more........Friends and Family does apply to Chrysler Prowlers.......but not on Plymouth Prowlers. However, under the F&F program (regardless of the vehicle) the dealers are not obligated to honor the program. I can only think of a couple of instances that the dealer said no, but the person buying just went to another dealer that said yes. In the current economic situation, I don't think you'll find too many who won't sell you a car (other than the Prowlers). |
