Took the Kat to the body shop today. I found one (thanks to Eddie Powell and his son Jason) where they are real car people. Paint damage was much more extensive than I originally thought and posted. With the exception of the deck lid the entire car is going to be repainted. This also means new flames which are now going to be air brushed on and cleared coated over. Similar design but painted in pearl and outlined in the same colors we have now. The only thing is the owner says to be done right he needs to keep the Kat for three weeks. It's going to be tough being without it for that long. But he guarantees it will be done right and worth the wait. Says it will look better than new. He is going to completey disassemble the car for painting. So now, not only will the damage from the siding incident be fixed but also some others area that have had road wear over the years. Kat goes in the shop right after CTC. This message has been edited by BeWare on 09-30-2003 at 07:16 PM |

BeWare- For what they are going to do, 3 weeks is a VERY REASONABLE time frame. Especially with the Flames... Buddy |
