I recently purchased a 2001 Orange(THE BEST COLOR) Prowler from Duane Cutro close to San Antonio Texas. I had Jerry Manson do the transport job. What a great guy. He uses only a 3 car trailor and loaded mine up front so his cab would protect it from bugs and rocks. He used nylon straps (NO chains ) to hold it on and drove almost streight through because he knew I was waiting for my car. He also came upon a storm and decided to stay under a overpass because it might have hailed. He does mostly exotic cars and does have covered trailors. He has four trailors and has been in the business for over 25 years. The best thing is his price was VERY fair. I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs a transport service. Had I known this a few months ago it could have made the difference in getting a trailer or not. I couldn't afford to buy it due to the shipping costs I was presented with. Someone in here recommended another person to help me get the trailer shipped (mentioning no names). I am sure he's a great guy and all, and can't fault him for his actual costs involved, but it would have cost me over $1100 in mileage alone to get a trailer to Texas from California. Add to that, gas, lodging, and meals, and the cost was just too prohibitive. Thanks for the heads up on this guy! ------------------ |

It's rude to ask, but how much did it cost to get your car shipped from Texas?? I paid about $900 last August to get my car to L.A. from Texas, and I'm just curious if your guy is much less than that - from what I've heard, they're all within a few dollars of each other. I know a lot of members would like a source for cheap shipping to some of the out-of-state annual events, etc. Thanks. |

I sold my '02 Sebring Convertible to a doctor in Los Angeles in January of this year and he had it shipped from our home in Boca Raton FL for around $900. Nancy Harris |
