I want to hear from all owners, whom had anyone damage their Kats.

About three weeks ago, while parked outside a store.
I looked outside and could not believe my eyes, here was this guy attempting to cut one of my tires. Well, I ran outside and jumped him. I ripped the knife out of his hands and my first thought was to cut something off him. I quickly carmed down, thinking of a long jail term for myself. So,I held this person down till the police arrived.I then asked him why? He stated,"I know that I would never have one, so I just wanted to damage it".
I went to Court and the Judge gave him three months.

Good for you that you've decided not to take the law into your own hands. You would have done the time instead of him. Now he has 3 months to think about the stupid thing he was trying to do.

Some people just can't stand someone else having something nice. At least you caught him and he is paying some consequences for his actions. I had a 1989 LeBaron convertible that was in excellent condition. My husband had an upgrade on the sound system done for me. While it was parked in their lot waiting for me to pick it up, someone walked by and keyed the whole side of my car from one end to the other. Talked about p***ed!!

GOOD job.... glad that you caught the guy and put him away. What a loser. Down here in Palm Beach I've never had to worry about things like that because I see Ferrari's and Porsches parked on the street all the time.

Glad you got him. I would have had a problem not stomping a mud hole in him. I've been lucky to this point in that I haven't had to find out what that mud hole would cost me!

You have more restraint than me. Being that he was armed with a knife anything you did to him could have probably been justified as self defense. A friend caught some kids stealing his stereo, held them and called the Cops. They were released to their parents custody. Two nights later his truck was trashed. Hmmm I wonder who did it?
You probably did the right thing, but sometimes I wonder.

Someone broke into my '87 S-10 Blazer a few years back by breaking the drivers window and stole 8-tracks, cassettes, bankbag, maps, receipts, $1500 in camera equipment, anything not bolted down, and tried to steal the truck. I was HOT!!! Especially when I found out several cars parked in the same place had been broken into. Made me want to set him up to catch him. Was tempted to park there again, and wait down the street with a shotgun. Then I found out what drugs do to crazy people with muscles. When the dealer fixed the damage, they told me that the guy didnt bust the ignition and try to hotwire it, he just tried busting the steering wheel loose by turning it til the lock busted. The steering shaft was twisted like a corkscrew. After seeing that, I was glad I didn't try setting this hulk up. All I got back was the bankbag, maps, and some of the receipts, that they threw in someone's front yard. Being the animal lover I am, I don't know how I would react if they had done that to my Kat. Camo, nightvision, & bushes come to mind.
