Hello Everyone, I’m a new member to ProwlerOnline. I’m also a fairly new owner of a Black 99 Prowler. I purchased my Kat back in Nov. 2002 and now it is time to take it for service. Can anyone recommend a dealership in the Houston area that would best service a Prowler?

I know it's a ways out on 290, but on the north end, take it to Apple motors in Brenham. I am very satisfied with their work. I would wait for some of the Houston owners to chime in, they have had some problems with some area dealerships! ------------------ |

Fred, I believe, is on vacation. I can tell you where NOT to go. Don't go to Archer south off 59/Beltway. I'm looking for a new place myself. A high school buddy from auto mechanics class is a service rep at Crown off I-10/Barker-Cypress area. They have done some major turn-arounds with their service dept. in past couple years and I was impressed with them. If you try them out ask for Wayne Franklin and tell him Mickey sent you. I think Mr. K has been happy with River oaks off 59/kirby but I have had some problems with them over the phone, myself. What are you looking to have done? I need to have a trailer hitch mounted and will check on the cheapest place, but am leaning toward Crown because I think I might get a little better service. If you want, email me and let me know when you will be having your work done, and if I can I might meet you out there while I get my hitch done. Welcome to the POA. I take mine to Allen Samuels in the Clear Lake area. I have had good luck with them but have not had the ball joints done yet. Don't try River Oaks Chrysler on Kirby. I have had very bad luck with them. -Pete |

 Miguel, I know you don't want to bring your car down here but as for Allen Samuels in Port Arthur there Service & Asst. Managers are very good and the Tech. We have 7 Prowlers in the Golden Triangle Area and we all use Allen Samules in Port Arthur. We've all had our Ball Joints none by this Tech and if any thing else needs to be done their always right on it. Good Luck on finding the right place. Johnny, |
