I am in the process of purchasing a 1997 Prowler (VIN VV300980). I was hoping that someone could tell me what the first production VIN is and what number off-the-line this car was.
Thanks,
Bob

IF the VIN is in sequence with the build number, that one is number 143.

You can't tell the number of the car off the VIN. The Prowler shares it VIN sequencing with the Viper which is (was?) made in the same plant. The best you can do is compare the time/date stamp with other kats of the same year to get a good idea of where you sit

Hope that helps.

The MDH (Month Day Hour) is located on the tag at the Driver's side door. You can then check against the registered kats on this site and get an idea by sorting by the MDH.
