Dan, Thanks for posting the pictures. Did you have a look inside? Did they do anything special to the interior? ------------------ |

Steve Gillaspy in So. Indiana has a black one. Here is link to his scrapbook http://www.prowleronline.com/scrapbook/newscrapview.php?id=282 The stock rear deck lid is removed, the convertible top is also gone. The rear has a handy hatch and it creates a sizeable storage area in the rear. Marty |

The event was the Woodward Dream Cruise 2001. I THINK that is M & L's car but I do not know that for sure. |

quote: This is Steve Gillespie's car. I looked inside, gives you alot of room, but makes your car a hard top unless you spend alot of time to switch it back to original state. If I remember correctly they are not finished on the inside. The owner must do this. Steve added the PT rear door trim to make a nice finished look on the door (it is just for looks) ------------------ |

Steve T The interior was kept pretty much stock. The interior could use some more work. Does not swap out as easy as the TFG hardtop. Nasty Cat This was the WoodWard 2001 Cruise ... Click Here to View all the pics

That hardtop looks pretty cool. I've never seen one of those before. Take the passenger seat out and I can use it to start my new Hearse company. |

Expect to take your kat there to have it fitted as some shimming or trimming may be required. Mark recommends that you have it painted your self as it may get scratched in the fitting process. It will require several coats of primer and sanding to seal it though. Here are some pics. I will try to get some inside pic tomorrow. Marks web page is

I think that if you have that top you wouldnt need a trailer it probaly has lots of space? ------------------ |

It certainly has a lot of space, maybe not as much as trailer, though. For me, the nitrous bottle would be exposed and more important to me, you can't do any top down driving with the Delivery Top. Steve's Kat looks great and draws a lot of attention; just not for me. I like the convertible lifestyle! |

Inside pics. Marty's right, this Kat is pretty much a hard top now, if you want to take the top off it takes some work. 1. Removing top... about 20 minutes. 2. Reinstall deck lid and realign...2 people a must..about 30 minutes 3. Reinstall soft top and realign... about 45 minutes. 4. Putting the delivery top back in the garage when removed leaves no room for the Kat...This top takes almost as much space as the car.
