We going over to Valencia tonight (taking the boys to Home Town Buffet) and the yellow kat crossed our path. It had the electronic mirror but I don't know what year it was It didn't have mud flaps or a rear tranny cover and it had its bumpers - knew it couldn't be anyone from here I have seen her before in the Valencia area but have never come across her when I was driving my kat. Both times have been in the Valencia Bl, McBean, Magic Mountain Parkway area. We were going by a car wash where there is usually a car show on Saturday night and saw a black tie with no bumpers. We stopped and it turned out to be Peter. I thought it was Todds because it had the same plate frame that Todd has ------------------ |

Cliff, you missed a great ride today! Peter did too, he knew about it. Anyhow, I "saw" that same Yellow I'm sure back when I 1st got my black 2000. because it was at the same show! He had just bought it for 50 K USED ( an ok price then) from the Ford dealer in Van Nuys. I tried to tell him about POA but he wouldn't even acknowledge I said hello. |

Yeah, I saw a guy with a black in Myrtle Beach, SC last fall and asked him if he ever had any contact with POA. He said no, that he had better things to do in life like ****ing his girlfriend on the hood of his Prowler. He had his arm around her and I was in mixed company, so I thought the comment was crass and classless especially with ladies around. Needless to say I didn't ask him again about checking out POA. WE don't need a**holes like that here! ------------------ |

AC - I wasn't that close to the cat. All I could make out was the green digits. It appeared to be the direction/temp but I am not sure. We were behind it in traffic. Maybe I need glasses? Todd - I know I missed a good one! I was really bummed This message has been edited by CWatsonJr on 03-02-2003 at 10:56 AM |

I don't understand why some guys think it's cool to be rude when you talk to them about their car. I had a nice experience while in Florida at Christmas. My inlaws had only seen a picture ( did not drive my Prowler because of the weather in Ky & Tenn) and we were at a Wal-Mart in Sebastian and saw a red one in the parking lot. We were all looking it over and they loved it. The owner comes up opens it up, lets my mother-in-law set in it, and popped the hood so my father-in-law could check out the motor and front suspension! It was McRealty!! After he left all they talked about was what a neat car he had and how nice he was. Thanks Scott. |
