I'm so happy with the effect I had to show it off. I'm still tweaking the look but was more concerned about the timing between the odometer and the burnout. What do you guys and gals think?? I need to work on the file size as well. It stands at 61K bytes and need to get it under 40K bytes. ------------------ |

Great job Dan! Marty needs a tach reaching past the "redline" in his banner,,,hence the name, Redline Usher ------------------

I like the spinning tire and revving tach, but think you should try it without the fake smoke... just looks out of focus or something. Mike |

hack1320, Yes your right. I will improve the light. ALLEY CAT, I will keep that in mind. Marty wants a new banner soon. jmcant1, The delema I have is file size. Certain colors tend to compress better than others. Thus the blurry unfocused look. I do not give up easy. I will come up with a clear focused animation. I will try the animation without the smoke and see what happens. Thank you for your feedback Cj, When do I do your new banner??? It's been several months now ... Still waiting for them cool Candy Red pics OHHH,,, wait a minute ... It just hit me ,,, Since your CAT is at Norms getting worked on.. You want to surprise us all with your latest meanest and quickest Ms. Quick Prowler Digger... I got it ,,, I understand now Tom Santella, Thank you If you can't come up with a layout for me allow me to do it. I seem to get ideas from the images I'm sent. So far I have not repeated layouts on my banners. They all have a different twist.. Look forward to doing yours Later... |

Dan... once again, WOW... When you do Marty's banner, make sure when it hit's redline, there is a puff of smoke from the engine area and parts flying out |

Hey Todd, I like that ... Not sure Marty wants to remember that day though... Especially seeing his KAT blowing up every 3 seconds on his banner |

I think we should take a group vote for Marty's banner... how many want to see his engine go POOF on his banner? |

Gee, with friends like you all..... Maybe when I drive the kat to Norm's speed shop in Wisconsin I should see if he has a video camara and would be willing to tape me blowing up the engine before he swaps in the new one! Dan - the tach looks like the factory one - not enough light - that's why I installed another model. I'll get new pics to you after the new enigine install.

Dan - Banner looks great! Very creative. If you do Marty a new one I suggest smoke coming from under the hood instead of from the back tires!!! ------------------ |

Sorry Todd for being redundant about smoke and Marty. I've be offline for a few days due to a business convention and cable/power outages, so when I got to my office I just skimmed over this post without reading all the replies. By the way - no power or cable at my home since 4:00 pm Thurs. due to the latest ice storm here in central NC. ------------------ |

Hey Dan, How about as it revs up to the max rpm, the outter edge of the hood or front of the car starts to glow a bit orange. (all the heat from the friction of going so fast) |
