That's nice! Hope to see it one day. Too bad we did not know about that raffle in this house. I certainly would have bought a ticket. |

This car was auctioned off by Larry Foss (Foss Motors in Exeter, NH) for the Red Cross of New England about a year ago. Foss Motors is on the rear lic plate in the images shown above. This is a Mulholland Prowler with vinyl decals! It looks great from a distance, but up close it did not look good. On the trunk where the surface dips the vinyl was over laped and there were bubbles in the vinyl all over the car. It would be cool if some actually painted a Prowler like this! Great paint job for the rest of those Inca Gold Prowlers!

Just to update everyone. When won, the owner didn't really know the true value of the car and actually sold it to a near by dealer for $28,000. The dealer then turned around and put it up for auction. Got quite a nice amount for it ~$50K I think. Its current whereabouts are unknown. -Al |

I need to see an Inca Gold in person. The PT Cruiser in that color was a bit much for me, but maybe it's cool on a Prowler? |

I just keep coming back to this … I think it looks so cool. But with that scheme as a paint job, how could you ever drive it! Not to mention that it might even stick out in a group of Prowlers. I know A/C has said vinyl is the way to go but I can imagine trying to cover that kind of area. Hey Wildcat, what’s the name and number of you custom painter again … Oh is it just me or does that trunk remind anyone else of a Bengal’s helmet? ------------------ This message has been edited by whealy on 12-30-2002 at 11:23 PM |

Whealey, you should NEVER compare anything to the Bengals. That is cruel and unusual punishment. They get the first draft pick, AGAIN. The poor guy won't sign when he gets drafted. He will opt to sit out or go to graduate school. lol. |

....vynyl is good stuff you just have to take your time on the install...there are no air bubbles on my car....and like Ed says its all stock except for the mods....this is version 3.0...it is about $6000.00....and is probally the final vynyl because my vynyl man told me he was thinking about retirement after this one [img]http://www.prowleronline.com/scrapbook/quickview.php?qv2=720&qv1=eventpics&dfn=00000098&id=00000098/000.jpg[\IMG] This message has been edited by pauley on 12-31-2002 at 03:08 PM |
