Do you guys/gals like your Kats' top up more or down more? Which way do you think your Kats' will look the best?

The Prowler is one of very few convertibles that looks as good with the top up as does with the top down. When the top is up, with the short windshield and side windows, it resembles a chopped coupe. I like that the top is completely hidden when down, for a much cleaner look.

VET4SNAK:
Looks great either way!
I certainly prefer driving it with the top down. I has a couple of blind spots with the top up.
My boy (10) loves the top down. He says that way all the other kids can see him in such a cooool ride!

Looks good either way but since I can't even get in and out of it with the top up anymore 'cause of my back, my vote is top down.

I think it looks equally good both ways. With the top up it has kind of a sinister look. I prefer driving with the top down.

lol@Al!

I agree... topdown when driving 99.9% of the time for me, but it looks GREAT with top up as well

Course it could be just a 'color' thing too

Good one, Butchee. Take that Gary
I have a hard top and that adds a whole other set of options and decisions. I think the hard top looks great and changes the look of the car dramatically. There are a few drawbacks to it, also. You cannot access the trunk, you can't put the top down half way thru the trip, etc. Life is tought, isn't it? lol

Top stays down always but will have to come up when weather gets cold; not as young as I used to be when my Jag XK120 had top down summer and winter, except for rain and snow.

It depends on the weather as to whether I have the top up or down. I drive it with it down as much as possible, just because I like convertibles. I think it has a whole different look with the top up.......like Bill said....it looks like a chopped top!! I think it's kind of funny, too, that when I drive it with the top up, I find people making more of an effort at trying to see who is inside. I think riding in it with the top up gives the car a whole different feel and attitude!!!

I like driving with the top down, but here lately, its been pretty hot & humid, so the times it has been out, the top has been up and the A/C on!

Having the top down has never stopped me from using the A/C, or the heater for that matter!

My rule of thumb (for non highway driving) is if it's 60 degrees (and no rain) then the top is down.

Dr. Prowler - I let one of my co workers drive who is
6'4 1/2" and once he lowered the seat bottom his head did not hit the top. Just how tall are you??

Well - since I am only 5' 8" on a good day - I don't have that problem. Are you lowering the seat cushion by moving the long, slender lever on the outside edge of seat? The lever moves both forward and backward for two types of adjustment.

Hope that helps. Either that or you have lots of sunny weather.

I also often turn the AC on with the top down. Especially in havey traffic on a hot and humid day.
