I was taking one of cats (one feline, one automotive) to the vet today and as I was pulling into the parking lot I saw a gentleman standing near the curb watching me. After I pulled into a spot, he called to me while he was walking towards me. He was shouting something about "Prowleronline.com". I got out of the car and he asked me what Prowleronline.com was. He said his name was Lance and he has a '99 Yellow cat. So, of course, I told him all about the site and the group. He was looking at my cat and questioned me about the splash guards. He was not aware that those were available and asked where I got them. I told him Mopar, of course. He was also interested in the trailers, so I updated him on that also. He said he lived at the corner of Mead and Sheldon (which are both gravel roads) and said he always had to be careful driving the half mile or so to get to pavement. The weird thing is that where he lives is just a half mile down the road from me!!! He said he'd seen a black cat around the area, but had not seen the Candy Red! I encouraged him to get on the site and register to post, and indicated that anything and everything he needs to know about the Prowler can be found here............ right along with the best bunch of people he'd ever want to meet. I told him to stop by sometime and go cruising with us! If he does register on the site and posts, please give him a big welcome! This message has been edited by CJ on 08-28-2002 at 05:11 PM |

That's the weird thing about Michigan. You can be on a fairly nice road, then all of the sudden the pavement ends. The street doesn't end, it just goes to gravel. Then further along it may go back to pavement. Very strange. We don't have that in Kentucky. Our road are either paved, gravel, or dirt, but they don't mix that up in the same road! Mike.......it has to do with ownership of the road. If it is a county road, it will most likely be gravel and they don't pave. If it is a city or state road, it will be paved. City, township, etc. boundaries also affect the issue. It's Michigan.........what can I say? |

In Texas we pave everything. Then we add a sprinkle of pot holes the size of grand canyon in to make the driving fun. Add a twist of gravel trucks spewing marble size rocks as they fly past you and the "road Rager's" to make it instesting and viola' welcome to luckenbach.... ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, |

YellowFever- Don't forget the Junebugs on the windshield and the Grasshoppers in the grill... oh and the occasional spattering of roadkill on the side of the car that the front flaps don't catch... ahh Texas... ------------------ |

On my last trip to Texas with the KAT in March I was amazed at the tree sap that was 1/8 inch thick all over my car and trailer after sitting in a hotel parking lot overnight. The potholes were easier to avoid. CJ - I hope Lance finds the website and you can get him to attend some events. Marty This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 08-30-2002 at 09:17 AM |

Hey Lance, I see you registered. Welcome aboard. CJ is your neighbor and can find out almost anything. (She even knows where Jimmy Hoffa is buried and where Elvis appears from time to time.) This site is the best place to find out anything Prowler (or almost anything else). Don't be shy and post often. |

WEll CJ - if being nice doesn't get him to start posting, you can always get some of Jimmy Hoffa's old cronies to scare him into it! |
