So this weekend while I was out, I saw a PT Cruiser with a Prowler-like trailer. It had matching paint. The front of it had a PT Cruiser grill. The side view looked like a squared off/squashed view of the Cruiser side view. Anyone else seen one of these? Of course this is the third one of these I’ve seen since CJ posed that picture of the car she saw with the matching trailer in the rain. The other two were a bus with a trailer made from the back third of an identical bus and a Vet with a copy of it’s hatchback being used as a trailer. I gotta start caring my camera more … ------------------ |

Laddie, Yea i think that was it. I think I remember you posting this, but I guess it's been a while. That or I'm just too old to put the two together. Although i know it wasn't that one as the paint was one tone. Thanks This message has been edited by whealy on 08-26-2002 at 05:19 PM |

in the spring of 01 TGF had a real nice trailer they we giving thought to marketing for the pt and had a proto type painted to match one of the custome pts they had built I ordered a trailer for Kathys Pt but they gave up on the idea and were going to pass the molds on to someone in the PT business it looked way better then the one in the past post (yellow and white) Maybe Norb could post an old picture if someone were to ask Happy Prowlin ------------------ |

Whealy. No update. I sent a list of about 25 questions to the bulilder through the regional rep for the PT trailer and never heard back. And, once the Prowler trailers became available again (twice) I kinda just dropped it... Still beyond my understanding (with the demand for the Prowler trailers) why DC seems to think they need to stop building them... Seems current orders are through March 2003... |
