Here is why it really shouldn't shock you:

1) Most owners of Prowler's are older (ie. perhaps
not so pc literate or worse, don't even own one);

2) Most people don't surf the internet;

3) And probably the biggest reason, to most, it is
just their car (or one of them) and they have no
desire to make mods to it, hop it up, paint it,
etc.

Look at it this way, 2 days before I bought my latest Prowler I bought a new cool looking Dodge Quadcab w/ 20" rims. Now, while it looks cool and is fun to drive, I will not be making any mods to it and I could care less if there is a "Truck site" with fanatic members. I also never joined or participated in BMW, Mercedes, or any Porsche sites while owning them either.

For a car they are not making anymore?

When they were making them they didn't advertise it as a Plymouth or a Chrysler. I also found alot of the salesman didn't have a clue about the car ("we are all out of the coupe and only have the convertible left", or "They never made a black & silver model..what did you say they called it?" or "Dodge Prowler" or .....)
