hi, I am a one week owner of a 2001 black Prowler. I have looks at everyones pics, they look so good. I saw some nice accessories and would like to know how to get in touch with "bras by kal", I am interested n getting one, and can you order one painted. i also saw a hardtop, would like one also but didnt find an address to find them. Do they fit nice, I read something about scratches and sitting back too far. I also saw a red one with a luggage rack, would like one of those also. One more thing... A trailer, none available in this area, any more around? thanks for any replys. Gary & Diane |

Congrats and welcome Go here for the hardtop http://www.prowleronline.com/tgfmetal.html I don't own one so someone else will have to respond as to fit and quality. Laddie Roussel is the member to contact about Bra's by Kal. Not sure which luggage rack you are referring to. If the rack was Red it was likely Ed Monahan's and it is custom made. Many are recommending the PT Cruiser rack from Mopar Parts. You will need to install a Mopar Hitch for any rack. The Trailers have been discontinued and I believe the last few extras they decided to build have also been sold. Unless DC changes their mind and builds more you will have to find one the the secondary market. They may end up being more rare than the Prowler. |

Welcome to the POA! I have a question for you. You say your Kat is a 2001 Black? They only made ONE Prowler in Black after 00'. Unless you made a typo.... that is one rare car! Check it out at the bottom of this page!! http://www.prowleronline.com/facts.php ------------------ This message has been edited by C5 Frank on 08-09-2002 at 09:46 PM |

Welcome to the family Gary & Diane. You never know hat you are missing until you own your own Kat. Don't forget to put mud flaps on immediately, the biggest saver of any mod. |

Gary & Diane: Great advice by Steven. I learned the hard way. Front flaps are a must, back ones do help some. They keep dirt, tar, road kill, etc. off the sides and rear fenders. Second best modification is ceramic front brake pads. These keep the brake dust down. I was having to wipe my chrome wheels down every time I took my Kat out, but after installing the ceramic pads, virtually no brake dust. Owning and driving a Prowler is great fun and with a few simple and relatively inexpensive modifications it will be a blast!!! |

Gary and Diane...........welcome to the POA and congrats on your new cat! With regard to the trailers, I've been working with Mopar in hopes of convincing them to do another run of trailers. I am hoping to hear some news this week and am crossing my fingers that it will be good news! Don't give up hope on the trailers yet! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Welcome aboard. Hopefully CJ will be able to make things happen with the trailer, but if not, the Real Rod Weekender is very nice too. Happy Prowlin! |

Hi and welcome to POA! I won't be much help in the mod department (I observe and approve mods, my better half, Marty, makes them), but the best advice I can give you (other than ceramic b-pads, a must, and flaps) is to go to an event asap!! You won't believe how much fun you guys will have. We have made so many friends in the past 15 months since we've had our Kat. That's the best part!! BTW, we own a black Kat too!!
