All Kats in the area, or those out of area willing to travel to Capital Raceway, Crofton, Maryland, Friday nights are test and tune at the strip. Gates open at 5 PM, cost is 15.00 to run and 10.00 entry per person whether the driver or spectator. It would really be a sight to have all those Kats show up and take the attention from the Z28's and ZO6's, TransAms. What about it guys and girls? Could we firm up sonething. You could be running against anything as they have about 8 to 10 lines of vechcles so you are not running against another vehicle even though there's a vehicle in the adjacent lane, just the clock. I can tell you it's a memorable experience for those who have never done it. How about it? Let's go; |

Larry, We will be at the Lancaster event this weekend but I would love to see you run your Prowler another time. Keep us posted when you do it again and we will try to make it. ------------------ |

I am not trying to establish this Friday. They run at Capital Raceway every Friday night. I was told not to run the Kat when temp gets below 40 degrees, as the frame gets colder, and aluminum is subject to crack when subjected to stress in cold weather. I am just trying to generate interest for a congregation of Kats any (preplanned)Friday night. For those who have never run your car, it would be an unforgetable thrill. |
