At the Parade in Schulenburg today with Pauley's American flag Prowler leading the way and playing Kate Smith's 'God Bless America", we took First Place in the Organizational Float catagory!!! We had 21 cars in single file and the folks couldn't get over the cars when they saw us coming! Just want to thanks all of you which made it out for this Event. I have pictures coming on cd from Wayne Wagner and his super pro camera.. Wayne owns a media company in Houston. I'll get them posted as soon as I recieve them. Next up the Central Texas Museum of Automobile History on the August 17Th... Sorry this is in General Discussion but we had to brag... p.s. We've now been asked to be in the Flatonia, TX. Parade.. ------------------ This message has been edited by prwlyn on 08-04-2002 at 05:01 PM |

If you guys keep getting that kind of press the sales of new Prowlers will soar. O, that is right, they quit making them. Darn. Good work Texas guys and gals. We're proud of you. |

Fred, thanks for having me along. I had a great time! The site of all of our Prowlers traveling along I-10 was impressive to say the least! It was good to meet all the fine folks in attendance and look forward to our next event. Just one problem - I was having so much fun, I left the top down on the way home. Long drive + 97 Degree Texas Heat + Bright Sunshine + Receding Hairline = SUNBURN!!! That's OK - I loved every minute of it. ------------------ |

Congrats again! It was great meeting you guys in Schulenburg! And thanks, Wayne, for letting me ride in the parade with you. Hope to see all of you on the Prowlin the Seas Cruise in February. Ben Catalina |
