This is the Triple G (Good Guy/Girl) Club... If you have not yet gotten a speeding ticket or other moving violation while driving your Prowler, then post below. I will update the list periodically on this top post. When you get a speeding ticket (or other moving violation), then you have to post your story on this thread, and I strike you from the list. Also, if you get rid of or (God-forbid) lose your Prowler, then I also must strike you from the list. If you don't qualify to be added to the list, but just want to tell your story - that's cool too...

Dang VCD You had to bring this up. No ticket yet but yesterday returning home from a carshow at Buckley AFB I did a burn out from a stop light and at the next light the people next to me are pointing behind me and there was an officer with his lights on. I pulled into a parking lot, he asked for ID, was it my car and where I lived then proceeded to say he could write me up for careless driving but wouldn't and that he really just wanted to see the car up close. CLOSE as in close call. Thank you officer Timmons! |

My wife said 3 strikes and I'm out; next day I bought a radar detector. So far no tickets, but I only have 1000 miles on the Prowler. Jim B. |

No tickets, but was pulling a Sunbeam Tiger off the interstate and had cop come up behind us with lights on then proceeded to turn on siren. I think he wanted to lok at both cars and could not believe I would pull the tiger off the interstate with the cat. did you know the Sunbeam Tiger was built for and sold by Chrysler Corp, even thought it had a ferd motor in it. ------------------

Two years and 6K miles and I hate to say how fast and where, but I think we have been lucky. When passing cops and being cool, they wave, but so far I have not been passing one doing full bore. |

Amazingly, I'm clean. Over three years and only been stopped to really get a better look at the car and casually ask where the front license plate was. |

No Tickets or violations... Close call on way back from Colorado (twice) go stopped by CO. state troopers for speeding. No ticket just warning... I was driving my Ram Diesel towing the Kat in enclosed trailer... ------------------ |

2 1/2 years, no speeding tickets and never pulled over. Only ticket was a parking violation. A couple of my experiences with law enforcement: 1) Drove my car home through 4 states with no license plate on it. Ironically had state troopers pulling along side and giving thumbs up. 2) Had an officer traveling in the other direction stop next to my car and said "Now that is a nice car" over his loud speaker. 3) Had an officer walk into the middle of the road with a radar gun pointed at me. I didn't slow down and he just kept the gun on me and never motioned for me to pull over. 4) Closest altercation I had was I was on an expressway traveling about 75 in a 55 when I passed a motorcycle cop with a radar gun in the median. I saw him snap his helmet and jump on his bike after I passed, so I quickly got off at the next exit. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,,,,one,,,,,,,,,I was going over 100,110,115,,,,,,,got 80 in a 65,,,,,,nice cop,,,,I was running the pump gas out the car to go back to Paxtons to put in the GOOD gas,,,and got busted,,,now I wish I had to opportunity to do it again,  ------------------  |

I never got a ticket in my Mustang in 3 years or my Prowler in the last 1/2 year... but got two in my Audi - go figure. One was a U-Turn on Red light - (It was really a left turn onto a one-way street, the way that this road is laid out, which IS legal, but the officer didn't buy it... I tried..lol...) The other was like Mike's - approx 5am in the morning, no traffic, and travelling 50-something in a 45. C'mon - gimme a greak, officer Dude!!
