The Prowler is certainly a very unique car both in style and technology. Do you think Ford, GM or DC will ever manufacture a car so innovative again. If not, will the Prowler become one of the most sought after classics in the future or will the V-6 engine keep it out of that category? I would welcome your thoughts.

V6 - V8, makes no difference to me, the "KAT" is in a class of it's own. I've never seen a car get so many looks and comments, most don't even know there is a motor under the hood as they can't get pass the looks. Those that do just say WOW a V6 doing all that. Just love it , don't you??

As long as there remains Red Blooded Americans in this world the Prowler will truly be a legend in it's own time!

I predict… 30 years from now when the streets will be filled with hybrid (elect/gas) cars, when a Prowler cruises by, people will continue to say… WOW that is a cool car!

I also think the V6 will make no difference. I too want another one. If you have ever cruised just off the rear flank of another Prowler on the interstate, this car is rolling sculpture and a most beautiful sight to behold.

I do not think the V6 will hurt the future of the Prowler as much as the lack of publicity for the vehicle will. After over 2 years of ownership, with as many times as I hear "Cool car" and Holy sh*t it's a Prowler", there are equally as many "What is that?" and "What kind of car is that?" questions. Lately, I can not go down the road without seeing a billboard, or seeing a commercial on tv or a print ad in magazine for the new Thunderbird. But rarely is there even an acknowledgement, anywhere, of the Prowler's own existence. There were some recent stories of the Prowler's end of production, but many people didn't even know it was made in the first place. I would not even own my Prowler today had I not passed one on the road while driving to a dealership to buy a different car.

I AGREE WITH BILL IN A LOT OF WAYS...BUT IT IS SOOOO COOL WHEN SOMEONE ASKS "DID YOU BUILD THAT" AND TO SEE THE LOOK ON THEIR FACE WHEN YOU TELL THEM ITS A PLYMOUTH...THAT IS ""PRICELESS""!!!!

I agree with Koastal Kat on that. I don't think the uniqueness and curiousity about the car will ever change. Nor do I think that any car company will build anything like it, especially in such low numbers. I consider myself VERY lucky to own the two I have. I never plan to sell them............and my two sons are counting on that! lol!
