I was reading here last week where someone was talking about all the kats in Texas and California. Well, I'm happy to be the latest to rescue a 2001 Mulholland Edition from a Mercedes Dealership's Used Car Lot in Houston June 1st. The only thing I'm waiting for now is the crazy weather around here to clear up so that I can get out and drive. The car is great, just 3900 miles, but it did need a lot of detailing. Everything you all talk about is true - this thing turns heads where ever I go. It's great to have a place here at POA to look and learn about the Prowler Experience - Thanks for all the Info! ------------------ |

Welcome neighbor!! I guess my Kat is no longer the only one to grace Caldwell!! We have a place up in Somerville at the lake and am in Caldwell almost every weekend at Wally World. Last time we went there, when we came out the car was circled by 14 pickups and their passengers were all around!! At least now Caldwell has its own Prowler... hehehe Maybe we can hook up some weekend.. ------------------ |

So your the one I've seen "kattin" around my neighborhood!. My place is actually 10 miles south of Caldwell, a couple of miles from Birch Creek State Park. One of the dealers in Houston, Shawn at Archer, gave me your phone number. I'll give you a call sometime. TL, give me a call.. We'll be up this coming weekend as we usually go every weekend during the summer. I bought another piece of property along side ours and I'm having to clear it. I'll have the truck but still would enjoy meeting another owner.. Shawn has reffered several owners to me now.. I put on the events of our South Texas POA... Congratulations on rescuing the KAT. My wife Sandy and I live in Chappell Hill and can always be found cruising anywhere from Brenham to Burton to Independence to Caldwell. Fred, if anyone was looking, there is a used red kat here in Bryan at the Mitsubishi Dealership. Has 4336 miles and they have it listed for $37,000.00. I went by and looked, it appears to be pretty clean, maybe not 37k clean, but ok. ------------------ |

Fred... doubtful... but you know me.. ya just never know! Have three weeks vakay left this year.. using two of em to go PROWLANCASTER .. were scheduled at that time anyway.... and another currently scheduled in October. The last two weeks of Sept will be very busy for me, trip to Iowa (work related) and a convention in Chicago (also work related) TL ... proud to say Eleanor and I were married, will be 26 years ago (Aug 7). The east-west hway through Caldwell... mmmmm... 21, I think... cant remember for sure.. anyway my sister (and my 2nd best friend in life, next to the wife of course) had a place she rented out there almost to Old Dime Box... we got married out at her place, outside.. yes... in Texas, in August!... hotter than blue blazes... but a day we shall always cherish
