This weekend (June 29th) I'm getting married to a wonderful woman. Fortunately, she's a car enthusiast like me! (Well, not quite as much as I am ) About a month ago I had the idea of renting a Corvette convertible for our wedding weekend. A co-worker of mine then went to a website just to check some things out for me. He said they had a Corvette, but also had a Plymouth Prowler for the same price. Daaaaaaaaaang, why hadn't I thought of that before?? Ever since I sat in a Prowler I wanted to drive one. So, I made the phone call and reserved it for my wedding weekend. It's bright yellow. The guy on the phone said "it's pretty easy making new friends driving the Prowler." We're having our wedding pictures taken at a local flower park by a river (weather permitting) and the plan is to show up at the park in the Prowler in my tux, jamming to "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top. I can't wait to see the look on her face! Just last night she said it's too bad that we didn't rent a limo or something. I hope she loves it!! -Mark This message has been edited by wuzzzer on 06-25-2002 at 06:50 AM |

Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage and what a better way to start your new life then cruising around in a Prowler! The rental guy was right.........you meet the nicest people in a Prowler. Please be sure to post some pictures and let us know what your new wife's reaction was to the cat!!! Best wishes to both of you and enjoy your new life together! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Congrates on your wedding and also the choice of rides, only thing I will add to this is "her hair" make sure you get all the pics done first there is lots of wind swirling around the cockpit when cruising most of the times it does'nt matter but this time it might :o PK |

Well, it seemed that the hardest part (getting marry) is well planned for your bride (soon to be your wife). The easy part is you will buy a prowler, as a wedding present, for yourself and your wife . CONGRATULATIONS!!! |

Congratulations, Wuzzzer! I couldn't think of a more snazzy and unique car to show off your new bride. Careful, you might find yourself buying one (a Prowler that is, not another bride). Tarzan |

Best wishes on the upcoming marriage. Hope the Bride-to-Be is totallly surprised. Just remember "The Best Is Yet To Come." Of course "Orange" would have showed off her eyes better, just a thought. Have a great life together!!! |

Mark! Big congrats from Mankato! If you'd like to e-mail me details, (and if I'm invited) I could see if Saturday would work out. If not, have a GREAT time, and please, take lots and lots of photos. Remember, this is YOUR day (your being plural, as in you and your bride). Best wishes. Kevin ------------------ This message has been edited by jkburns on 06-25-2002 at 11:57 AM |

Hey Cuz, Congratulations on the upcoming nuptuals. We bought our cat 2 months before my daughters wedding and I didn't drive it at all until the big day. The prowler is my daughters favorite car and I wasn't going to take a chance on being in an accident before her big day. The pictures were beautiful and she had no trouble getting into the car in her wedding dress. Good luck to you and your bride to be. |

Kevin, this could be fun. Even if we dont get an invite we can crash the party! I'll call Glen in Lakeville and a few others we can make a cruise day out of it. |

Bob - here's a tip for you. Crash the reception not the wedding - free beer, free food, music, dancing, bridesmaids - just like in Golden, Colorado a couple of weeks ago!! Happy Prowling Marty |

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I'm sure you will love driving the Prowler and what a sight you will be coming up on that with your new bride. As stated above make sure she knows ahead of time about the convertible, for her hair's sake, you don't have to tell her what kind. Also, if you want to be able to buy one later on and keep things harmonious, let her drive the Kat around a bit. She will probably be just as hooked as you. When my husband got his, he had to go get me one too. Prowler that is. Best Wishes, |

Congrats! You'll probably have to get your own to keep forever. You'll find out there is not much room for luggage, but on your honeymoon you won't need much to wear anyway. And you'll find out that taking along a lot of extra stuff through anything in life isn't worth it anyway. |

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement! I'll definitely make sure that the Prowler finds its way into some of our wedding pictures. Thanks to all that suggested a Prowler caravan. Cool idea, but it's a ways to drive for you guys. I hope I don't get hooked on the car while I have it. But, then again, we all need dreams and goals to strive for, right? |

Well I went 980 miles for the last wedding of Garth Brooks Jr. and St. Cloud is only over the hill and down a couple of corn fields. Congrats on the wedding and I will stay home. So tell me who e-mailed you and said dont let this guy show up. |

quote: LOL, I'm not saying that a caravan of Prowlers wouldn't be cool, and I wasn't tipped off by anybody. It's just that I have enough to take care of already. Maybe next year on our 1st anniversary I'll rent one again and we'll go cruising then! |
