Chromer, What kind of dog is that anyway ? Be honest, is it a good dog ? Shed much ? Claws (hardwood floors) ? We lost out English Springer last July. Kids want another. Mom says no....... need to find a good breed that she would like.... John |

John B............Obviously, I'm not the owner of the dog, but I was lucky enough to spend a little time with Jack at the event. Now, I've never been very fond of little dogs (no offense meant), I prefer large dogs (I had a St. Bernard that meant the world to me). However, Jack was an extremely well-behaved dog. He's very smart and definitely likeable!!! Didn't bark much (if at all) and wasn't yappy! One evening at the event, Bob, Marc, Alex and I were having a very late dinner at one of the local restaurants -a brewery place. Chromer joined us and he had brought Jack with him in his soft-sided carry case. Jack did not make one sound the whole time we were there! No one knew he was even in the bar! He's an adorable dog and I'd even consider having a Pomeranian...........if they are all like Jack! |

Nita's dog, Gummy Bear is very good as well, he is a Pom. I thought I wouldn't like the breed, they're cool dogs. But also I have seen some real losers in any breed. ------------------ |

Jack is smart as a whip and one of the best behaved dogs I have ever seen. It is obvious there is a strong bond between Jack and Chromer. If I could find a dog like Jack I would reconsider my decision to no longer own a dog. He is Most deserving as the POA Mascot. ------------------ |

quote: Hi John, Jack and Chromer here, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your English Springer last year... We wanted to reply to your questions about the Pomeranian dog breed. We have four poms: The Dad "Webster" the mother: "BB" (Beyond Bitch) and we kept their off- spring "Jack" and his sister "Monica". I would not worry about the hardwood floors. Keep the toe nails trimed and no problem. Poms do shed. I brush our dogs EVERY morning so most of the hair goes onto the brush and not on your clothes or house? What I like about Poms is that they are a house pet that requires little or no exercise and they do not dig or chew (and they Love to ride in Prowlers). They do have a tendancy to "yap" but ours do not because we get out the "noodle stick" (a soft 1/2" foam pipe insulation) and we threaten or discipline them wilth it if they throw a barking fit (our dogs do not yap). "Jack the Wonder Dog" is special. In my 49 years I have never known a dog of more average intelligence (like his companion) that is as talented and as motivated to please than JWD. This Friday, June 21st is bring your dog to work day..and to rescue a dog day ... Hugs and Dog kisses from: Webster..BB..Monica and Jack.
