Nice idea Linda. Any chance of turning that into a strobe type of flash?

Right click the line and save to your disk. This may help.

Do you have apple quicktime or windows media player installed.

A/C - mini video demonstrating flashing light when braking....not your brake lights themselves, but the light on the rear deck lid.

Sassy, I'm having trouble too. I get an error message saying I have the wrong version of Media player. Says I need version 7. When I got to the Microsoft site to download that version, it said it was for Windows XP.

I even right clicked and stored it on my hard drive. When I tried to run it I got the same error msg.

After a few tries I got it to work, for those who can't it's a device that makes your center mounted brake light flash ten times when you aplly your brakes, not what I was hoping for.

OK, finally got to see it. Interesting. Probably a very good idea and useful.

My only concern: Delphi Electronics and UAW labor? = might be a tad on the high price side for matchbox size unit. What is the warranty and life expectancy of the unit. Not trying to be negative, just justifying the price to the fellow POA association.

BTW-nice video, presentation, and marketing

1 year warranty.

All solid state modulators, no parts to wear out. Water proof. The size was important becuse it lays flat on the back under the deck lid carpet.

Thank you for the info

Will ponder on it

I can see where it will help, and if it prevents one cat owner from getting an as$ whopping,,,,,then I'm for it.

Funny, video lead me to believe that cell phone use is causing the 340% increase in rear end accidents,,,,,,,,,,and here I thought it was from women putting on their makeup on the way to work Glad my mind is now at ease

I will order details in the classified soon.

I notice people stopping sooner now. Today was was asked by people in a new Ford Lighting for one. Guy said he was hit in the back by someone not paying attention. He thinks if he had on, it might have not happened.

Blinking center brake light .... Billed as the best mod ever?????

Cell phone may cause some drivers to have accidents, the truth of the matter is more accidents are caused by parents being distracted by CHILDREN....FACT!

Have to say the media presentation is done very well, but not a mod I will be wanting.

I thought I read somewhere that flashing third brake lights were against the law in some states. Don't think it is down here I have seen one or two already on SUV's. JM2cents

Alex, I got the same info from AAA and DOT, and both said that cell phones accidents with 2nd to drunk driving.

The way I look at it, if this stops some idiot just once from creaming me, it's well worth the money.

Hi onaprwl

It may, but I think the new Mercedes will have them ???

OH well, can't hurt trying...

I don't worry about people will rear-end due to the attraction of the Kcats. I am worry about them rear-ending other cars while staring at our Kcats

Over all, it's a great idea...

Don't believe everything AAA and DOT tell you. That is their Spin. These are the same people trying to ban cell phone use while driving.

I know I have a friend who’s a police officer and he pointed out an illegal lighting of a license plate. There were several colors and the light “rotated” around the plate. When I questioned him what was illegal he stated that the only vehicle that could have a flashing red light was an emergency vehicle. Now do I think they would pull you over for that? No. But it is probably a law on the books in Indiana.
