Seeing old friends, meeting & making new friends from the Prowler community...

Two things I would change... 1) name badges - add State to name badges & print name in black 2) Provide a roster of all attendees to those at event...

Cars, great people and cruising high mountains (Donny was scared on Mt Evans. Donna offered to drive but that would have been terrifying.) Everything was wonderful, great location, very well organized, and seeing old friends and meeting more Prowler friends was a blast. If you have not been on a tour, go for it, you'll have the time of your life.

Word for word, I'm going with what Laddie said.

Also, I would have preferred to have known that we had night security watching our parked cats. Maybe we did, but I didn't see it. There were no problems that I know of, but I would have slept better knowing someone was out there watching. Maybe hire someone to watch the cats nap from midnight to 6:00am??? And, pressure the hotel to provide a couple of garden hoses, washing area, and towels for us to use.

Enough said by me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the event was GREAT, the best national event EVER!

What was there not to like??? It was all great. Old friends, new friends, scenery (do you people in Colorado appreciate that gorgeous scenery???)the Prowlers, even the ride home (minus the 2 hrs. we stood on Interstate 70 (a truck wreck and then the electric storm!) For the next trip, assumming the hotel wouldn't mind - we could camp out in our motorhome in the parking lot possibly. Just our prescence and a light could ease the worry of the cars in the lot. Of course, if you want "wide awake people" there might need to be some negotiations! Ed will know the value of "security" - we'll get some lessons.

Where do we begin..
It was great meeting many of the good people I have chatted with over the years on POA and PPC.

The drives were great..I thought the ride to the top of Mount Evans was outragious (see pics). It was interesting to see Tom Mills have a slow but steady turn of opinion about dogs and Jack. Jack went from "looks like a rat." to "looks like a gerbel.." to "he is kind of cute for a dog..and I don't like dogs.." I really enjoyed the Prowler shirt that CJ had made up for Jack (THANKS AGAIN CJ!) (and she had a very small one that would fit his sister so she gave that to Monica as well.
I liked the friendships that developed...I especially enjoyed the reception on the patio at the hotel and the all the stories...I am dellighted with how much fun Mike and Judy krehel are to be around and how great Judy's laugh is!
AC and Ed Monahan are a kick. Marty and Rebecca Usher are great...(Marty, I hope you're still not sore about the Flamming shirt?)Thanks to everyone who helped to coordinate the Prowlin' the Rockies Event. It will always be a high point in my library of fond memories.

Now..LET's DO IT AGAIN!!

Chromer - If you ever see a black flame shirt with Blue/purple flames, let me know. I could have stayed in Colorado another couple of weeks and bulked up to fit in the XXL one they had left.

We had a great time. Just be glad Rebecca talked me out of kidnapping Jack while you were buying the shirt!!
