Who has it now? What was the last sale price? What are their plans with it? Just wondering..........Its probably the ONLY other collector Prowler besides the last Ply.,last Chrysler and the coveted Conner Ave edition which Mike K. owns. |

The Kiss Prowler and trailer with guitars was purchased by the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles for $140,000.00 at their June 2001 Barrett-Jackson Auction. The car was displayed for quite a while this year in the "Cars and Guitars" exhibition. It's probably now in the vault at the Petersen. |

Cnote: Good to know you're a fellow KISS Army member! The Boys used a computer-generated (CG) animation of the KISS Prowler while on their last tour (The Farewell Tour). During the song "Firehouse" the car was seen blazing down the highway, spinning donuts (cookies, sh***ies, etc.) and generally looking cool. It was at the last KISS concert that I realized I HAD to get a Prowler. Kevin ------------------ |

Paul - Chris is a Kiss As$?? While not an overly big KISS fan, I need to bill Gene Simons for using my patented AlleyCat "TONGUE" gestures. What should I charge him? If he lets me re-enact his moments with Cher, I'll wave his fee? ------------------ |

the Kiss Prowler is at the Petersen museum. I saw it there at the end of april.its sitting in the basement in the area where Mr. Petersen keeps his cars.i was able to touch it. i was delivering another car i own that is now on display in the new Custom Car exhibt. its a old 51 ford custom called the X 51. if anyone stops by the museum take a look at it. they also had a purple prowler down there. the guy told me it was FOR SALE. he did not know how much they wanted for it. bob page |

hi P K thanks. i have had the X 51 for 16 years. as you know the car was built in the northwest in the mid 50s out of a 51 ford.it was on the cover of Rod And Custon in march of 58, hot rod oct 58. most recently the cover of Rod and Custom December 97. i have driven it almost 20,000 miles. gets more attenteion than the prowler. i have not seen the exhibt at the petersen but i am going by when i go down to the LA roadster show fathers day weekend. if you have never been to the roadster show it is a must!!!!. i have only missed it once in 22 years. best car event on earth!! i think we can park prowlers in specialty parking. |
