Yes...it was a lot of work AND Friday night's rain really sucked. BUT - all you POA folks were wonderful. Rebecca & I appreciate all your positive comments and compliments.

You need to know we REALLY enjoyed seeing so many people having a great time. It's too bad everyone left dinner Saturday night still hungry. Rebecca & I will have to go back and make sure they increase the amount of food they serve.

There were so many great moments for us -
* seeing fixumm present the trophy to the winning owner and jockey of the fourth race on his 40th birthday,
* watching 47 cars 40 KATs, 6 snakes and 1 Superbird in my rearview mirror cruising to dinner.
* seeing old POA friends/meeting so many new ones.
* Saturday and Sunday's weather - WOW - what a difference a few hours makes.
* POA winning the club participation trophy over clubs representing Corvettes, Jaguars, Porches, and others - it wasn't even close!!
* seeing ED with a nametag that he even he could read without searching for glasses.
* Finally getting my factory headlights out of my garage and into MeneGene's shiny red KAT.

Special thanks to Gary & Kelly Archer for helping with a lot of the things we couldn't do ourselves.

Thanks to Mike & Kim Venezia for waiting for cars that made a wrong turn and then being gracious about not making the reception Friday evening.

To Larry Mayes for being there to help Dave Mills on the side of the road.

To the Viper Club members that joined us. It was great meeting and talking with all of you.

To the "east coast posse" for presenting us with the miniature gas station and diecast vehicles. (I know thet have name, but can't remember what they aere called)
I know a lot of people came a long way to be here. I hope you all had a wonderful time.

VaCat Dude, Larry Mayes and others will be posting some of the hundreds of photos taken. CJ has already posted photos from Friday.

Happy Prowling

Marty & Rebecca

We will look forward to enjoying Colorado in a few weeks!!

Marty, Sandy may need more Maker's Mark. She took my bottle, too and then said she did not know you had silk pies or she would have gotten one.
You guys did a great job. My name tag was outstanding, even if some people did not respect it. (you may not know that story). Steve Clark does.
While at the bar Sat. evening I had several different "newbies" tell me how nice everyone seemed to be and how pleased they were that they attended. You guys were great hosts and the only complaint today was the guy on the tractor. Although he did salute you all. lol.
Thanks again to everyone who made it a great weekend. We had a great time.
I sure hope some of the first timers become regulars. It was great meeting them and seeing all of the old gang again. 13 days until we depart for Colo. I'm ready.
