Yesterday we test fitted the dyno in the pit, shimmed it level and marked the mounting holes. The dyno requires 6 mounting bolts that need to be drilled into the floor. Next week after setting the bolts, we’ll lower the dyno back into the pit one last time and fasten it down. Cliff, I'm planning on having several cameras in the Prowler Garage/Museum that can be panned and tilted by anyone viewing the picture, that's the link that Hollywood posted. I disabled the pan and tilt feature yesterday to keep the camera facing the dyno pit, but today the pan and tilt is operational. We still have some final plumbing and electrical work going on. Next week we'll be installing the security/automation system and a sound system. After that it's sheetrock, a tile floor and then all the cars can come home from storage and be in one place. The space is a little over 5000 square feet and can easily accomodate over 20 cars without crowding. ------------------ |

Wow - very nice!! You shouldn't outgrow that much space for several months after completion. Love the tilt camera operation. ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Awesome Mike! You gonna have room for the extra 10 or 11 cars that you can't keep in the front garage? ------------------ |

Hey guys, the front garage is for Me and Chris. I think I got suckered into parts storage as well. My car has been outside a long time to accommodate all of the kitties. PS. But, He did promise me a great wax job when it's over! ------------------ |

Mike, that is almost an exact duplicate of my garage, except for the camera, dyno, total area and cars. Most of the rest is very similar. NICE. ------------------ |

quote: NICE Gatlin,,,,,,,,,. I was there, flew into Houston friday and met with Mike and Judy, discussing the construction, furnishings, and amenities of my new office in the Krehel Prowler Museum. As the museum curator and chief security officer, I needed to go over a vast list of issues with the Krehels to insure that all POA people will have the best Prowler Museum to visit. Mike - sheetrock and tile? My office was to have marble walls and granite flooring,,,,,,we can't cut corners now ------------------ |

Mike - will the new dyno be able to handle the RPM's of Ed's and Fixumm's mouths when tested? These two mouth breathers need to be tested first, to insure the calibration of the new dyno. This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 05-12-2002 at 12:13 PM |
