Well I had the day off today and found myself in Walmart looking for this stuff called ProtectAll. I found it in the RV section and brought it home after giving Mr. Walmart $8.47. I drove home and started on the clean Kat. An hour later the Kat was completely polished with ProtectAll and I kid you not...It has never been as shiney as it is now. I am truly sold on ProtectAll! I have to hand it to Cliff and say a big Thank You for the tip. And Yes...The Meguires Gold Class is going in the trash!
PS> Can you see the house across the street reflecting in the rear? Alex ------------------ This message has been edited by Alex on 05-08-2002 at 04:59 PM |

Stunning, Alex — absolutely stunning! Currently I use Meguires polish followed by Gold Class wax. I sense ProtectAll is as good, if not better, and lots easier — especially if I'm not looking for super-long durability. Correct? Kevin ------------------ |

I've been using Meguires for a long time and with all the rave about ProtectAll I figured for 8 bucks and some change its worth the chance. Well, I guarantee if you try it you will like the results and not only that, no white residue left in the cracks. You can go right over the plastic rear wheel protectors and just keep on waxing. I'm a new fan for sure. Alex ------------------ This message has been edited by Alex on 05-08-2002 at 07:46 PM |

FABULOUS!!! I bought my ProtectAll about 2 weeks ago and still can't find time to use it. Too busy prowling! Hopefully, I will use it this weekend. ------------------ |

OK.... I guess I will have to try this stuff..... too many people raving about it. Is it a Wax ? Does it simply shine or does it protect ? Have any of you used Meguires #7 (show car Glaze) followed by Meguires final inspection ? That has been tried and true for me. John John |

quote: It is a high grade caranuba wax. It does protect very well. It is in the RV section, because it is one of the few wax/polishes that protects fiberglass, most over a little time will dull fiberglass. I've been using the stuff for years. ------------------ |

I, too, was skeptical about ProtectAll. While I'm not convinced that it's the best shine, it helped me take care of a problem I've had since getting too close to the plastic stone guards and convertible top lock points with Zaino. The Zaino "got caught" in the crinkle finish of these 2 spots and would not budge regardless of what I tried to remove it. Know what worked??? ProtectAll...emulsified that leftover Zaino in the crinkle and it's totally gone now. That alone made the purchase worthwhile. ------------------ |

Say, I didn't know I owned a silver? Where did that come from? I've never seen the site put in an automatic color du jour,so to speak... ------------------ |

Yes Todd - THANK YOU!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me how it worked. I am trying to find a lawyer to get my copyright down before AC gets his grubby paws on it and starts collecting royalties Hey Todd - are we still installing your other two exhaust systems tomorrow (Friday)? ------------------ |
