I was pretty surprised to have my topic chosen as the winner this week. Since I have won several times before, and have caps, t-shirts and banners, I usually give away my prize to someone else who has never won. With Mike's permission, this time I thought a little contest might be fun. This is open ONLY to members who have NOT won the Post of the Week contest before. You have the rest of the week to come up with the most creative reason why you should be selected to be the recipient of my prize (your choice of cap, t-shirt, banner or diecast). Mike and I will pick the best one. With all you creative writers out there, this should be interesting!! LOL! Have at it and good luck!!! |

My Dearest CJ, I want not for myself, but for those downtrodden souls who have never tasted the glory of winning. Those poor unfortunate ones that have never smelled true victory, those that sit on the bench, never to be called on to the playing field. Those that sit quitely in the corner hoping, praying, that the next song will be the beginning of a beautiful dance. The homeless one under the bridge hoping that the night will remain warm, or the young child that dreams of the perfect Prom night cruising in a Prowler. But no, that call from the coach never comes, the song for dance is never played, the night turns to ice, and the Prowler will not cruise on Prom night.....these are the lost spirits that I fight for. So as the Prowler Online Robin Hood, I would not, could not, take for my own, but would pass my winnings to those who only dream of victory, those that long for the sweet taste of success, so that they too may rejoice. And one day as their tears of sadness turn to tears of joy, they too will stand up, as Americans, with their chins raised high, they're voices united as they too sing "winning isn't everything...it's the only thing". ------------------

OK CJ now I'm takin the gloves off here. I need to lose some weight I know, but I have to finally admit this " I have my mother thighs" I have to live with it! I can't suck up to you it's not my style, and I don't have a balding problem like some, we don't have any snow so that excuse is out, I give very generously to lots of charities through out the year. I love kids just ask my 5 grand kids. I guess what it comes down to is I need more T-shirts, LOL Oh by the way did I say how nice you looked signing the hood at the fair well party. PK |

Wouldn´t it be nice to say that the POA wings have spread all the way to Europe, where the cap will keep a fellow Prowler owner warm when he is cruising down the street, close to the Arctic circle, meeting a Polobear! I am sure the Polobear will run for cover when he sees a real Cat! Mikael |

now cj this is your old shopping partner, you know I would never beg for something like this. it is not right.for those of you that will beg for this you should see a doctor soon.but I would gladly take it for good friendship. all of you know you will NEVER see me beg for anything. if you want I will pay for the postage no one else said they would do that now did they. now I am not begging but the shirt would come in handy to keep one of my kids warm this cold summer.just think of my poor little girl shaking out side because my house has a wall missing right next to her bed. hopefully u have it in your heart to help my poor little girl. just remember I am not begging fixumm ------------------ |

Please let me take a stab at this. All true! I am a US Army officer serving in the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Our family owns a Patriot Blue PT Cruiser and before our deployment I looked at a matching Mulholland Prowler. Shortly after deploying, I learned that Prowler production was coming to an end and last week our local dealer in Killeen, Texas sold the Mulholland. However, there is still one available at the dealer in Temple, Texas. I'm ready to buy, but my wife is still undecided. I hoped a free T-shirt or cap (for my wife) might encourage her to say yes. Then we can join the Prowler family. Sincerely, Col Jim Bruckart, 21st Combat Support Hospital |

Will, since buying the Cat in 2000, one of the biggest decissions of my life, I started to have a run of bad luck, but things are finally starting to turn around for me. Very first day of owning my Cat I lost all my engine coolant, the hose coming loose and sticky green fluid sprayed all down the side of the car and everywhere else. I had to be towed by Roadside Service on a flat bed. What a sight! Then there was the three speeding tickets, a couple at 80 plus, and the crash in the first six months resulting with my insurance being canceled and my car out of commission for over two months. I did have a clean record before the Prowler and am really kind of easy going. Then things got really bad! I had to have surgery and was out of commission for a couple of months. I couldn't even bend to get in the Prowler... ouch! I finally recovered and was able to Prowl again for awhile, but not for long! I had a little mishap with the law and was sent to jail for awhile. Truly a turning point in my life! It was really nice of the SWAT Team to put the Prowler in the garage for me! They were very understanding. Will, maybe not too nice... So I did my 30 days and am no longer a menace to society and rehabilitated you know. So now the good part. I just turned 50 and had recently met a wonderful young looking lady who also turned 50 a couple of days before me, love older women you know... and have fallen in love! I just asked her to marry me this last Sunday and she said YES! So we are officially engaged and plan to be married on July 4th in Las Vegas! So lots of changes coming in my life, all for the better! Since I have been single for the last 30 years, I am looking forward to having a full time cruising buddy. I won't be the only guy showing up at the Prowler cruise without a date any more! Anyway, I think I could really use a hat for my fiance' to help keep her hair in place and the sun out of her eyes, all the while, cruising in style. With her big brown eyes, beautiful smile and a new Prowler hat, she'll fit right in and make a great Prowler Babe! Life just keeps getting better all the time! These really are difficult times for many and I am thankful and greatful for all my Prowler friends and family who stood buy me through all of my tough times. Thank you POA and friends for being here! ------------------ PROWLEN.... John (-: This message has been edited by PROWLEN on 05-02-2002 at 11:32 AM |

I read Col Bruckart's post and felt urged to respond. "Take a stab at this", it seem like I've heard that before from an Army doctor, never turns out good. Got to keep an eye on those Army guys. I'm an enlisted Marine and am also in the Middle East in support of OEF. The only difference is the good Colonel has an air conditioned hospital building and shade for his head. I, on the other hand, do not and could really use the hat to shade my head from the sun in this 110+ heat. Additionally, I purchased a new Prowler prior to deploying to the Middle East and it was delivered on 18 March 2002 to my house. I bought the Kat from a dealer in Wisconsin and payed to have it delivered to my duty station in Hawaii. I haven't seen it yet but I've heard my wife's been driving it all over.
