So has anyone else hard wired their V1? Having had the opportunity to install mine in several cars over the past few years, I was amazed at how easy the Cat hard wire install was. It sure is nice on those occasions when you can leave it in the car you don’t have to worry about disconnecting it from the outlet.

I looked though the archives and didn’t see much on installation. I did see a few comments on the V1 but not much. Is this not of interest here? I’d be happy to post the little I did to hard wire, but being such a late comer to the game, I’m not so sure there’s anyone left that would be interetested.

whealy,
I am going to go out on a limb and volunteer to help you.

Did you take some pictures during the install....or can you take some still?

If you throw them into a word document, and include the images...I'll make up a little page (with pdf) for everyone.

This has been something the Viper Club has been doing for years...and if I am missing it here, my apologies to all!!

Please LOOK HERE for the basic idea.

If no interest.....(shrug) I'm easy!!

Tony,

I'll see what I can pull together. You are the admin here and you have a Viper? Gees I got a lot to come up to speed on.

Lavka,

Sorry about just assuming that everyone knew what V1 is. It's a Valentine 1 radar detector. More information at http://www.valentineone.com/

I was just looking through ym overflowing "to-do" folder and found ANOTHER V1 instruction that I will be uploading to the Viper site soon.

Not that it has anything to do with Prowlers...but some of the basics, and maybe ideas, are interchangable???

PS...I am just trying to catch up to Mike...one Viper FOR NOW, more cars to follow, someday!!
