Hi, I am trulllyyy excited to own a new 2001 Orange Prowler here in Houston, I am very interested in finding out where to get all the accessories to add to it now lol I already purchased my Plymouth Prowler "shimmers" from "Shimmers" for my back bumper, Super nice guy to deal with! He was so nice in telling me about the ceramic brake pads by Rayobestos. I will be getting those tomorrow! Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions on anything else i may want to purchase? I am also curious of anyone that gets together for drives here in Houston, thanks!!! Melissa |

Congratulations! You will be kissing her good-night for the next few months... OK maybe that was just something I did (Still Do) I wish you all the best, and get ready for some of the best times in your life... You will see nothing but smiles everywhere you go... Except from Vette owners... Just kidding. That's another story... You definitely want to get the splash guards on right away. Fronts and back. Be sure to trim the fronts. Some Shimmers would be right up there on the list as well. The next thing is pack that CD changer with some good tunes to cruise with. Then get another CD Magazine to make it easier to change out for those long cruises. Almann Brother's - Live at the Fillmore East - I am pretty sure it includes the song: "Sweet Melissa" - just a suggestion I am sure you can definitely find somebody to play with down there... I have had the opportunity to meet some fellow Kat lovers from your area and everyone was absolutely great! They can even get you onto the Speedway!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!! This is great! I can tell i will be on this site alot lol I work online but have never got into chat rooms or discussion boards but can tell this is one i want to be associated with. I have had a love for this car since i chased a guy about a year ago down the freeway to see what the emblem was on the car lol, the guy kept trying to go faster but i caught up with him lol probably thought i was nuts, maybe he will see the post and know who the crazy woman was chasing on a Houston freeway lol I cant wait to fix it up and yes i do want to kiss my car, just havent because the neighbors may think im a little "off" lol I have moved my desk to the window so i can just look at it while im working and thinking "dont i need something from the store" so i have a legitimate excuse to drive it somewhere. I will say for all golfers, the clubs DO fit in the passengers seat lol thanks so much and i will keep checking to see what other ideas have posted, =) Melissa |

Melissa, welcome. You can put the golf clubs in the front seat, but if you stop at the bar and put the top up so that they don't get stolen, you cannot get them out without putting the top down again. Trust me on this. WARNING, do not adjust the front seat while standing outside the car and leaning into it. It is jet propelled. There is a guy in Houston that owns 13 Prowlers but I can't remember his name, at the moment. ------------------ |

Welcome, Texas just won't be the same, now! Instead of you chasing guys down, you may have to get a NOS system installed to keep them away! By the way, where do you keep the saddle and whip? ------------------ |

Where in Houston are you? Got a call today from a friend following an Orange Prowler. She wanted to make sure mine was safe. This was in Clear Lake. I know I have seen at least one other orange down this way in the past. -Pete ------------------ |
